An Overview of Quora
Quora is a social question and answer (Q&A) platform that encourages its users to ask questions and provide answers in their areas of expertise. Users can provide answers, follow the questions/answers, and also edit them.
The questions and answers are arranged into different topics to help users find their way around the platform.
Quora users are also allowed to like, comment, and ‘upvote’ posts that appear on the social forum.
Quora can be a great resource to learn about your industry trend, showcase your brand, connect with your target audience, and even sell yourself.
Let's delve into the 6 smart ways to use Quora for your social strategy.
1. Provide Genuine Answers
Answers are not guaranteed to be accurate every time on Quora. Sometimes, you may find the most absurd questions or answers on the social platform.
Using Quora as a social strategy means your brand image is first and foremost in your mind. You don't want to post any trivial or sarcastic remarks on Quora.
Never be tempted to joke around on Quora, you should instead use it as a platform to generate business leads.
If you still decide to goof around on the platform, trust the moderators to find and collapse your remarks.
Provide genuine content that will add value to Quorans and the internet community at large.

I believe Quora is a bit overlooked as a resource, but it is a good one.
Same for yahoo comments, may be they take it to be spam.
