4. Find out Who Your Readers Are
You know, Quora can be used as a reporting tool for gaining insights about your readers. Your answer reveals stats such as the number of times viewed, by which users, and how readers get to your answers.
You will learn if a reader found your answer through your profile, from search engines, or from tagged topics.
This feature also allows you to obtain a detailed assessment of those who have seen your answers.
Analysis from these details will prove helpful in planning your social media strategy. You will be able to focus on traffic sources that bring many readers to your answers.
5. Return to Your Quora Answers
The stats obtained about your readers will determine your next line of action.
There are some of your posts that will not require more updates, based on low-reader activities. However, the answers that generate a lot of responses need to be returned to.
They can be called your best answers, and you need to follow up on them. It's the same way to follow up on a prospective client.
The only difference is that your follow up is on readers' comments. You can respond to them by adding more details about the topic, your brand, or your niche. Include links to your brand, website, or product page where necessary.
Provide additional facts and figures to buttress your answers, if need be.
Make it a rule to always return to posts that show above-average stats in readers' comments.
On my entrepreneur site, I answer lots of Quora questions and then if I like my answer, will post it to Twitter and Facebook. I have gotten some nice responses to these in Social Media.
I believe Quora is a bit overlooked as a resource, but it is a good one.
Same for yahoo comments, may be they take it to be spam.
