Your Ultimate Goal

The goal of landing pages is to collect qualified leads. This is different from the leads that are generated from contact forms on websites. The landing pages are tailored for specific audiences that are interested in the topic or the product you offer.

The email address is captured to keep the conversion rate at an all-time high. Later, you will have the opportunity to make offers to these subscribers.

You should use landing pages to generate leads. The more attention you give to the call-to-action, the higher your conversion rate.

Final Words

To make a landing page work effectively for you, remember to give the user the best experience possible. Landing pages are often used to collect subscribers by asking for an email address. Then there is the pop-up or subscribe form on your website. Funnels are generally used to convert visitors into sales.

These are all tools to find customers and convert them to sales.

Thank you, Lilly. I have saved this tutorial for reference. Landing pages are incredibly important and when we get them right, they will work well. If they are complicated and or dull, they may not work at all.

Thus us invaluable information on landing pages. I'm a I'll trying to get my head around them. I understand if you use them when doing paid ads, but how do you utilise them for free. How to people find them? Jim

You can use them like ads and do a short promotion on social media with the link to your landing page.

Are you allowed to put links on normal posts?

These are two different things, Jim.

You would create a landing page on your website and then write a blurb on social media to draw people to it. On your landing page, you will be offering a lead magnet to get people to subscribe. Its sole goal is to get them to subscribe so they can get the gift.

A landing page acts the same as a pop-up on your website, just less intrusive. The whole point of a landing page is to keep people focused on just one action.

In your posts on your website, you should always be putting links to your other posts (internal and external links).

You can use a landing page for collecting subscribers or to sell a product although most people separate the two and use a landing page for subscribers and a funnel to sell products.

Is this a little clearer?

Thanks for this Lily. It will come in handy when my blog roll isn’t good enough. Categories will not be good enough for my landing page navigation.

All the best
