2 - Learn a Thing or Two from Bounce Rate
The bounce rate for a website is a metric that indicates the percentage of visitors that leave the site without clicking a link. This means that the visitor came, saw, and left without interacting with any other pages.
A high bounce rate shows that you have a high amount of people leaving your site from the same page. This can mean that your web page does not provide the right answers that those visitors came searching for.
A high bounce is also caused by low-performing web pages usually caused by slow page load times.
However, a high bounce rate doesn't mean that there is something wrong with that page. It could be that the site has a standalone page or one that has all the answers featured on a single page.
You can find out the pages that account for the highest and lowest bounce rates. This should give you a pointer on what pages to work on in order to improve their bounce rates.
Also, you can set different time frames to view the results of the bounce rate for your site. For instance, setting a time frame for a monthly bounce rate will help you discover if there are monthly improvements. And if not, you know which areas to address that will lead to lower bounce rates.
