Here are four smart examples of link-building methods you can apply:
1. Visit Moz Local if You Are a Local Business
Are you a local business owner? If yes, you have Moz Local to leverage – this is where you will find a 100 percent free tool that delivers almost instant feedback about the effectiveness of your local business listings and whether or not those listings are consistent, accurate, and visible to users across the entire web.
2. Create Tutorials and How-Tos
To my understanding, people admire learning things, and it’s absolutely easy to create tutorials, either in video, text, or both, that are helpful. Whether it’s a DIY project, tool, or just anything, showing others how to do certain things is quite helpful.
3. Connect with Industry Experts
It’s impartially easy to reach out to experts in about any niche. A couple of searches with the right key phrases should be of help. Send invitations to these industry experts to come for an interview on your blog.
Experientially, interviews are appealing to experts, as these affirm their status as industry experts. And these categories of people are already connected with newsletters, fans, followers, blogs, and sites. So, interviews help to generate more links.
Thank you for sharing.
I was particularly interested in #4. I have a domain name dedicated to that idea and have never implemented it. It actually would complement my current website. If I developed the website directory, would it help my traffic on my current website if I linked them back to each other? Does this make sense? Sometimes I have trouble expressing what I mean.
Thanks,
Mary Ann
