This is one of the steps that most people don’t do. Sure, the keyword tool already tells you about the competition, if it is high, low, or whatever. What you want to do is Google for each of this five keywords andlook at the search results. Which websites are displayed on the first page? The goal is to see if this are weak competitors or if it will be hard to rank. You can use MozBar to do a fast analyzing (it’s a free tool). You want to look forlow page and domain authority sites and try to figure out if they are ranking for this keyword occasionally or they aim for this keyword. The goal is to sort the five keywords out and find the one with the weakest competition.
