For searching an easy to rank keyword, you’ll need a keyword tool. There are many keyword tools out there sure, the free keyword tools don’t give you that detailed information like the paid ones, but to start of they’ll do it too. A free keyword tool would be Google Keyword Planner. I personally use Jaaxy and it only costs $19 a month. Anyways, start off with a keyword like „best projectors“ and dig down to long tail keywords like „best home theater projector reviews“. Search about five of this keywords with low competition. In Jaaxy there is an index called QSR that displays the number of competing websites that rank for that keyword (I usually pick one with QSR under 30). Once you found five low competition long tail keywords go to the next step.

Great training, Sirio. Long-tail keywords can make all the difference when it comes to getting up the ranks. It's easy to omit the step of actually typing the keyphrase into google, thanks for the reminder there!

There is also majestic (majestic.com) to check site stats. They work with two indicators too. Trust flow and Citation Flow. The lower, the weaker and the more equal both indicators are the better. For example if you have 20 Trust Flow and 50 Citation Flow, that's not a good sign

Mine is 0 for Trust Flow and 18 for Citation Flow. Is that good or bad?

I checked again to be sure... Well it's not a good sign, but you shouldn't worry to much. It has to do with linking (inbound links / backlinks). You can check out this article, this will help you! https://www.seoworx.net.au/domain-trust-flow/

Thanks for sharing. How is Domain Authority and Page Authority determined by Moz?
Reply
Sirio Premium
domain authority = how well a website will rank (domain/subdomain)
page authority = how well a specific page will rank

Here the official definitions:

How can the domain authority and page authority improve? Mine is very low.

What does this mean? "The best way to influence this metric is to improve your overall SEO. In particular, you should focus on your link profile—which influences MozRank and MozTrust—by getting more links from other well-linked-to pages."

Step 3 is the winner. Knowing your competition and you are right, so many people don't know about this. Until now!

Yeah, step 3 is the winner and killer! If you do it properly (which sure needs time) it can be very powerful...but it's worth it to INVEST the time.
