• Write evergreen content. In other words timeless content that won't become outdated after 3-4 months. That doesn't mean that all your posts have to be like that. But it helps if some of your main posts are.

  • Write actionable content. Good quality content is not enough. You want people to buy too. So, tell your readers what you want them to do. Don't just drop an affiliate link at the end of your post. Guide them to your Call To Action (CTA). Explain them why they should do it. Don't expect people to find out themselves what their next step should be. Tell them. Use examples, ask questions to increase engagement, etc.
  • Keep it simple. Write until you have adequately covered your topic and not until you reach the magic word count. If you said everything you wanted to say about whatever is that your are writing in 900 words there is no need to keep writing until you reach 1500 words.

The chances are you will end up repeating yourself. Also be specific and use simple words.

I really like the idea of the subheadings you had. I never thought of them that way. O was always thinking about secondary keywords but since they have no place in ranking in these subheadings, I really like your ideas.
I also really liked the conclusion idea which I have never done but I do have a question about this one. Would you not just be summarizing what you had just written? Could you give an idea of what you mean exactly here?
Thanks for sharing a great different and very useful post. Sometimes the less popular topics have the greatest impact. Cheers!

Hello Jair,
First of all, i would like to thank you for your comment.

Now about the conclusion. What i do is mentioning the key point of my post and why it will be helpful to go through the entire article (in an indirect way).
The reason i do that is because a lot of people will first scroll all the way down and read the conclusion of the post instead of the introduction. They want to find out what the gist of the post is and depending on that if its worth reading the whole thing,
I read that in a study somewhere online. That people behave like that.
So, my conclusion is sort of a CTA that tells people why they should read the whole article and at the same guides them to the real CTA.
Not that i have mastered the technique though. But i am trying.

Very nice and well written. I like the part where you say if you have said all you need to say at 900 words, stop and don't try to reach 1500, you'll just end up repeating yourself. I had just that thought the other day. Anyway thanks for the good summary. Will definitely tag it and get back to it. Thanks again!
