How Can I Setup LearnDash LMS Without A License?
It occurred to me that a lot of members at WA receive payments through their websites they have personally created.
My question is, why do I see that one has to have a license to receive payments on a website? Surely if the site belongs to you, you don't have to have a license?
What are the possibilities of receiving money on ones own personal website without a license? How do we overcome this hurdle and what would we use to make that happen?
Looking forward to your input, suggestions and answers.

I don't know what you mean about having to have a license. Check out woo commerce plugin to accept payments.
I use WP Courseware LMS. I don't know anything about LearnDash.

Are you talking about the learndash license? if yes then may be you downloaded the a shareable GPL version, or some friend shared it with you, which you can use without a license. Now if you want to make people pay for courses, it will be via payment processor like stripe, paypal, 2checkout etc,then if you need to link it to your website you may need a licensed learndash plugin - 159 usd for 1 site, 189 usd for 10 sites. When you pay for a license, you are paying for support.
If the issue is not that, then you need to be more specific about the licence required, when does learndash asking for this licence (on what specific action on your page etc) so that we may help.

Thank you so much for your lengthy reply and taking the time to respond.
I believe it's the license they refer to in the menu when using LearnDash. As I was perusing previews of it, I saw it and it looks like you need a licence to receive payments.... but this was not clear.
I understand that this is a paying plugin, could they possibly be referring to that?
To my knowledge you can use learndash and other learndash extensions plugins without paying for the license. You just don't put the license code when asked. The thing is that you don't get support and updates unless you put in the license code in your site; and to get a license you must pay a subscription.. I do use gpl whenever I am testing plugins, but when I have a stable published site I would eventually buy the license.
