5 Reasons Why It's Cool To Start Using Animated Explainers In Your Blog

In the 2+ months that I've been with WA, I'd admit that I'm a bit left behind.

Not because I haven't made a sale yet in my Toonblogger site. In fact, I'm not expecting that to happen anytime soon.

Because of what I normally do in my day job and other gigs, I couldn't participate much in the community, I can't keep up with the trainings, I can't write blog posts consistently, I can't extend help as much as I could and a lot more.

However, even if I only have 6 articles to date, I'm quite fulfilled of what I've done so far.

After a few Inbox exchanges with Kyle and Nathaniell as to which niche I should be focusing on, I've finally decided to stick to the niche that I think I'm good at - creating animated explainers.

Along the way, I also had gathered a few more usage of cartoons in my blog. That's why I'd also like to share it to the community as you might also like to leverage on the power of animated explainer videos.

Here are 5 of the benefits of the animated explainers.

1. Cartoons have special places in everyone's heart because everyone of us has childhood memories. In those days, we could link some of our memories to our favorite cartoons - Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Voltes V, Road Runner, Hello Kitty, etc. Maybe not all of us love cartoons, but probably few, if not, none categorically hate them.

Because of that, when cartoons are incorporated in businesses, prospects tend to lower their guards.

That means, messages can come in easily. Whether they're in the form of 2D, 3D, animated or still, our prospects or audiences somehow give a favor to that "childhood" linkage.

They become more "forgiving" as the message is rolled out n explainer videos or cartoon graphics. Unknowingly, they absorb information much easier and faster.

Just imagine how much more messages you can actually relay if you're the source of the business/marketing information.

2. Using animated explainers (30 sec to 90 sec.) can summarize what we want to say about a lengthy post/review. I have created my own version of Wealthy Affiliate Review here just to vividly show what I'm trying to point out http://toonblogger.com/the-wealthy-affiliate-revie.... Probably, it's somehow refreshing (you can put a smiley if you agree). : )

3. If you're spending for stock images, you can reuse them by incorporating the cartoon images. You'll then have a new set of images.

4. If you want to ride on the video marketing trend, you may want to incorporate videos in your posts. However, if you're embedding someone else's videos from elsewhere or if you're not doing it because you're not comfortable in front of a camera (just like me!), you're not really maximizing all potentials.

You can easily create videos of your own even if you're not an animator. You can either tap those professionals which cost thousands of dollars per 2-min video, or you can go the Do-It-Yourself way.

I have written an article about the 10 DIY animated explainer video software that are popular today. You can explore them here http://toonblogger.com/10-best-diy-animated-explai....

5. Animated Explainers and cartoons can improve your bounce rate. If your site visitor is watching the video from start to finish, he'll spend about a minute in your animated explainers. If he'll read further because you've already given him what's in store, then your page will have at least 3 min. of unique visit. That can increase your bounce rate analytics.

My Analytics is telling me that I have 2.41 pages/session for 107 users with an Average Session Duration of 5:18 (Google/organic is 8:45). The bounce rate? 59.8%. Is it good enough? Probably not. But it's about 35% improvement compared to my other blogs before.

So if you haven't used animated explainers yet, try exploring the various software available in the market today. Many of them have Free registration so you can test their magic before pursuing the Premium plans.

I can help you decide if you need me. : )

Very nice review!

A few remarks, the surname of Kyle is Loudoun and not Loudon
second, your link to the inside of Wealthy Affiliate is not opening into a new tab
third I would give the cartoon video a voice.

Overall: Very good:)!

Thanks a lot Loes! I didn't expect that you'll go that deep. I'll correct things ASAP.

Jojo
