Wealthy Affiliate ranking.
Rank goes up for some reason?
So my WA ranking went up 275 points overnight. I was so disappointed to see this. So I asked why and it seems that it's not because I did anything wrong (been active more and more each and every night) but instead there are just other members who have ranked above me. This sounds like a good reason, although still a little frustrating. Anyone care to share their views or solidify the answer to this.

I wouldn't panic, your rankings will fluctuate based on your activity here compared to others within the community. Your focus should first and foremost be your business and building out your website, just remember that.
As you naturally immerse yourself here and continue helping others, asking questions, communicating within WA, leveraging the platform to build your business, etc...you will continue to see your ranking going up. :)
Thank you Kyle. It's been so easy to get caught up in the community here because it is to great. I'm going to concentrate on finishing my training. Thank for your advice. Much appreciated!
No worries, I totally understand I just don't want you to feel down on yourself because your rank fluctuates in one direction or another. You are in the top 10% here within the community (in terms of rank) which alone should be something to be proud of and through time I bet you this will only continue to go up. :)
You are doing great man and of course if you ever need a hand with anything as you move through the training, just ask.
Man I gotta tell you I'm still blown away at the constant "AND FAST" support you give to all of us. WA really is unique and I really wish I would have found out about it much sooner. I plan on becoming an WA affiliate in the future so I can share, spread the word and help others out as well. To the people who know how to appreciate value when they see it you are a rare talent my friend.
How can better ranking benefit you? Tommy, I found training from one of our Ambassadors here at Wealthy Affiliate. I realize that going up 275 points seems bad but I am confident that your ranking will go down from here. I hope that this helps Tommy, Tony
From what someone told me it's simply because there are others who are just bumping up ahead of you. Makes sense if you think of the hundreds of thousands of members here at WA. Kind of takes the sting off from that prospective.
Mine seems to have been going down steadily...I've been trying to post as much as possible,answer unanswered questions, follow more people, blogged a bit...but I sometimes get little bumps back up, I just keep at it and it goes back down...hope this helps a bit
Your rank going up 275 points in one 24 hour period actually seems pretty good to me. You are obviously active within the community and that is why your rank is continuing to move upwards. Just keep doing what you are doing and you will watch it climb. I would not be frustrated, it is how it is suppose to work. :)
Sorry, I misunderstood you. The only thing I can say is that you've been told correctly in that others must have been more active. I'd just keep helping when you can, be active with others blogs, you could write your own blog, etc. All these things count on your rank here. Ranks change daily, and you can only do what your time allows.

WA rankings MEAN NOTHING! Don't waste your valuable time worrying about that. You've got enough on your plate right now!

Your so right and as we all know it's so easy to get engrossed with this wonderful community here at WA. I myself have put off making my first web page for at least the first 10 days because of communicating with everyone.... but that's not a bad thing! It's great to know how HUGE this really is and that there are always people there to help you out.
