Does this mean the end of tax breaks for the giant shopping platform?
How will that effect the commissions it pays its affiliates?

Just a few bucks, I am sure investors will end up wearing the brunt of any tax bill (as Amazon works on very thin margins and is not all that profitable).
We will see if this translates into lower commissions, and they have made some changes to commissions structures to their program in the last year.
Passing the brunt of this onto affiliates would be a dangerous move on their part as they are going to really see some adverse impacts from this as there are becoming more and more great alternatives to Amazon for affiliates.
