How I got 163 followers on Steemit in just 3 days :
Hey so I keep talking about Steemit, the new social media that actually pays you to be a part of it, curate content, like share and post. I believe this is a complete game changer and all artists or content creator should get in as soon as possible.
It is expected to go massive so getting early and secure a good position could be key for the next coming years
Beware though, don't get in if you are thinking of making a lot of low quality posts and expect big money, this site is design to keep that sort of people off and rewards users in the LONG run. Personally... I think is awesome, I love it, and I'm putting a lot of my energy and resources because I believe in it.
So ok having that said, when you first start you have nothing, no value, no followers, nothing (just like any social media).
This could be quite challenging... but I have good news to all of you :)
Introducing Steemfollower.com
With this site you can follow up to 30 people a day, and the site grantees that for every follower you get AT LEAST one follower back... is usually more than one, and the less followers you have the more you get.
It is a service completely free specially targeted at people who are starting out. I am using it and it works perfectly.
You can also use it for likes, you like someones post and you are guaranteed to get likes back. Almost like the comment feature here on WA. Although I been using the like feature every day and it is definetly slower than the follow one... still the site keeps a close tab on how many likes it owes you, so eventually you should get them.
I completely recommend this for starting out since it gives you a nice push :)
Everyone let me know if you are already in steemit so I can follow you and like your content :)
if you want to follow me I am TheArtOfTomas, if you are not in the site yet... what are you waiting for? the site is getting thousands of new sign ins a day! it's going mainstream and the ones who get early will have a massive advantage!!!!!

Hi, Tomas.
You've gotten me very excited about Steemit, and using SteemFollower to make even more cryptocurrency.
Steemit looks good and I like their privacy policy. I signed up, but I did NOT like having to give them my cell phone number.
"Your phone number will not be used for any other purpose other than account verification and (potentially) account recovery should your account ever be compromised." I guess I'll find out soon enough if that's the truth.
They texted my confirmation code so quickly, I was startled when my phone buzzed, lol.
I've verified my email address and am now on the waiting list. Do you know about how long I should expect to remain there?

I haven't signed up for SteemFollower. For me, the broken English and lack of a privacy policy is worrisome.
Do those things worry you?

Tue, Nov 21, 2017: Quick update
Got my approval email from Steemit about 6 hours after I applied.
After reading and accepting the lengthy Terms of Service (which include a binding arbitration/no class action clause), I was in.
Now, my account will just sit there: I'm too busy with my site to learn how to use Steemit, lol.
Still haven't signed up for SteemFollower. Would love to, but the poor English and non-existent Privacy Policy make it seem scammy to me.
I'm glad you are in :)
I actually waited for 2 weeks, but I got so tired of it that I used a service called anon steem, in which basically you pay a fee and get in instantly haha so you saved some money by getting in for free :)
The broken eanglish in steemfollower is a bit worrying, however you login with your post key, which means the only thing they have access to is your posts (this is needed for your posts to be shown in their site to be upvoted by other members)
So far is been working for me, I now have 409 followers and my reputation grew from the starting 25 to 43 in a bit more than a week now :)
I also had one post made 15 dollars!!!! an original song recorded with my cellphone haha It's like a dream come true to me
If you don't have time to learn how to use steemit I suggest a youtuber named jerry bansfield he is one of the top guys in steemit and does regular videos about it and how to use it to it's fullest
I will do more posts on it as I discover cool things and tools (there are so many to use)
The first thing I would advice you to learn is about the payment (is a bit complex at first) there are three types of currencies involved in steem and they each serve different functions, steem, steem power and steem dollars.
There are some youtube videos that are great to explain, again I will be doing more posts about it in the future :)
If you have any question send me a private message or leave another comment in some of my posts
If you want tell me your username and you'll get a follower :)

Hi, Tomas.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
I'm following you at WA now, so I don't miss anything. :)
And, I'm following you - TheArtOfTomas - on Steemit.
The quick approval for my account request was a complete surprise. I'd expected anything from a couple - several weeks.
For the next few months, I have to stay laser-focused on building out my affiliate business 'the WA way'.
When I DO get time to check out a less traditional social media platform, your posts and advice about Steemit will be very helpful. Thank you. :)
Thank you, too, for the offer to PM you with questions: I've no doubt I'll have some.
Sharon
Hello there! :) I'm also on Steemit quite a while ago :) It really is a great platform to make some cents if you like sharing great content as any other social media! Keep up! See you around :)
Thanks! I think steemit is much more than that though
Yes when you start you only make cents, but the more you make if you turn those into steem power ( I'll make a post about it) you can actually make much more than that, some people make over 300 dollars every time they post, the most I made with one post was 15
Also you have to keep in mind that is still on beta, once it gets popular if you started early and kept with it you'll be in a great position to take full advantage of it.
The platform is trying to get people who are invested in the long run, that is why you make so little at first. Keep with it and it will surely pay off.
Also you get paid in steem, which is constantly fluctuating around a 1 to 1 ratio with the us dollar. But if steem gets popular (which I belive it will do) the price of steem could very well go up to say 5 or 10 dollars worth, so everything you made could be multiplied... Just something to think about.
It's a great way to get started with cryptocurrencies and get some for free :)

Putting your affiliate llnk in a blog post is not allowed under WA anti-spam rules. You've found a way around the automatic enforcement of that rule by posting it as a graphic.
"6. No blog or forum posts that are created for the pure purpose of promoting a product. This does include product reviews. Rants are OK.
7. No adding affiliate links to any blog, training, discussion or private message"
Source: Spam is a NO NO!
Oh I didn't knew that, but it makes sense... I didn't put it as a graphic to get away with it, I just copy paste it and that is how it turn out :)
Thanks for letting me know I will keep that in mind for the future!
Have you tried Steemit, the other day I recorded a song with my cellphone uploaded it and made 15 dollars worth :D
I missed the fact that it's a live link. It looks like an image on my cellphone display. Now that I'm on my laptop, I can see that it's clickable.
You really should delete that link to avoid getting reported for a violation. You can click on the disclosure arrow under the blog title and chose "Edit" to do that. (See below.)
Done! thank you!!! :)
