No matter what I try it keeps declining me to pay for premium...how do I fix that?
How are you trying to pay? It will not accept prepaid cards due to they do not accept reoccurring payments, you will need to pay with Paypal or a credit card.
That is why it is prepaid, now if you loaded that money from the prepaid to Paypal it will take it I think

I have a visa gift card and I want to know if I could use it to upgrade to premium..
I would say yes but only if: 1. It is a visa,, mastercard, amex, discover. 2. If you are paying for yearly. Otherwise, I would not suggest it. I would also not suggest it since it won't auto-renew
