Hi Marion -- just read your Dec.2017 post about Captcha being removed out of Wordpress due to a # of issues... thanks kindly for coming to the rescue! ... all the best, cheerio... :)
If your website is hosted at WA then you'll have anti-spam available at the server level. If you're hosted elsewhere then I recommend Antispam Bee plugin.
