Wow! What a difference WA Education makes!!!

I have been a writing fool! I have learned about Squidoo! Do you know about squidoo.com? If you do not, you should. I have seen various people on WA have squidoo websites. One of the people I've been following is PotPieGirl (who is awesome, by the way). People can make upwards of $3K a month just by having squidoo pages. It's not a whole website, its a page that can link to your website.

In learning about squidoo and in making my squidoo "lenses" I learned about pinging my lenses, which gets them out to Google, Bing, Yahoo and other search engines. I also learned about cross marketing all my lenses and posting them on stumbleupon, tumblr, delicious, digg, technorati, and other social sites.

First things first, you have to find that niche topic that Kyle preaches around here. I use the Find Keywords function on WA all the time!! It is a God send! I realize Jaaxy is better than Find Keywords, however, until I start making some real money, Find Keywords will have to do. As I have said in my other blogs, you have to start writing. Pick a topic, something you know about, a health condition and how you have dealt with it, a child's learning struggles, buying a home and all the things you did not know when you started the process, anything that is (somewhat) unique to you. My sister has built her entire career around her own hearing loss and the family hearing loss that we have. That's when I decided that I could write a website on my alopecia.

I love the "Rapid Writer" tool here on WA. If you have not used it you NEED to use it. If you think you have nothing to say about something, go to the Rapid Writer and start writing about something, anything, and see what it morphs into. Once you are comfortable that you have a topic that you can write about, because eventually, you will see that you have pages of information written down, start an actual blog here on WA and PUBLISH IT. Once you've published it, see if you can expand on anything. Look at every sentence you wrote and see if you could expand, ask yourself if you fully explained that thought. If you did, great, if not, then explain and clarify.

Now, you are ready to squidoo! Squidoo takes some getting used to, but start your first page and start looking around at other pages and see what there is and how it can benefit you! THEN, figure out how to help others with the information you have.

KEY POINT: Help others with the information you have. Everything you write should be with the intention of educating someone, helping someone, pointing them to the right direction. People on the internet are in search of something. They are in search of the information in your brain. Give it to them!

Once you have figured out Squidoo and how to set up a page and get it published, you need to look at all the people in your life and figure out how you can help them. Does every small business you frequent have a website? If not, build them a squidoo page (with permission of course). If they have a website, see if you could promote their website through a squidoo page. Ask them if you can help and if they would be okay with you making a squidoo page for their business. It not only gets you talking to people in your community, it will make you a better writer because you are writing for someone else's benefit. Now, you are also writing for your own benefit, because you can get paid by squidoo for your work. There 's a whole system that I won't go into here.
