Morphing Posts Saga
All ri-i-i-i-ight! This month I managed to construct two redwood posts in my River series about making time big that I think I did well. Cool!
I started out with one gynormous mountain of interrelated material and just kept adding to it, taking away from it, then adding other stuff to it, and so on. The ideas rub away against each other and gain or lose traction and momentum.
This resulted in a way overstuffed brain and no-way-in-hell-am-I-going-to-make-sense drafts of posts that died a-borning over and over again. ARGH!
Weeks keep slipping by as I wrestle with the mountain, extracting an idea or three on which I could focus without overstuffing my readers.
This way of structuring and constructing posts is slow as molasses. It does make the finished product taste very rich, however.
I keep telling myself, "Okay...last one," but it's still going. Sheesh!
When this is done, I am going to just do sugar cookie formulaic stuff for a while, I think. Meanwhile, I'm grinning from ear to ear here.
Hope all's going good with you guys.

Hi, Netta
You can always put that article into ChatGPT or BARD and ask it to reorganize your content without rewriting it since I know you like to use your thoughts and words.
AI can also break it down into multiple articles, if you like.
Itโll take less than 10 minutes of your time and you might get an interesting result.
You could find yourself with more time on your hands to have weekend fun! Haha, just a thought. ๐
In any event, do Rock On! ๐ค๐ฅโก๏ธ

Ah, Frankie...thanks for stopping by and laying down your comments. I do appreciate it.
Myself, I think that the Bot-niks are, indeed, cool and handy tools, but they do interfere with my process of brooding on and incubating my thoughts for as long as they need it in order for them to build up towards a breakthrough that lets me get to some other paradigm that is new to me (and maybe to other people as well).
For me, those breakthroughs are the reason for doing this dance.
You know, Kurt Vonnegut once said, "Virtually every writer I know would rather be a musician." This one is a very real truth for me.
And Plato (and many guys before and after him) opined, "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything else."
Man, I'm aiming for soul in my thinking and in my writing. The Bot-niks can't give me that. I have to earn it.
And that's why I do what I do.
Rock On, my braddah!

And those words sum up music better than I ever could! Lol ๐
Keep On Rockin' It, Netta! ๐ค

How I can relate, Netta. Overlapping ideas and corresponding research, papers all over. I should post a picture of my bed. How does one file this stuff when the ideas overlap?
I'm still working on that one my own self, deelilah.
The hard part is not getting sucked into arranging and rearranging data like a demented file clerk. It cuts into writing time.
