I Made My First Three Affiliate Sales

It's been a while since I have posted on Wealthy Affiliate. I wasn't planning to post today but I just discovered some great news regarding my business. So I wanted to make this short blog post to let you know where I have been and share the good news.

Where Have I Been?

You might be wondering where I have been and why I haven't posted for a while even though I said I was going to. Well I have actually still been here but I have not been very active other than checking in each day.

The reason for that is because I have been struggling with my mental health again and as a result of that I lost interest and motivation for a while but I intended to get back into things when I was feeling better.

I'm starting to feel better and I will be getting back into things soon but I'm not exactly sure what day but it will be soon. I'm sorry if you were waiting for my blog posts but I was in a dark place and just didn't have the energy to write anything.

But don't worry I will be sharing further details on my mental health journey in my next blog post. But I won't say a specific timeframe for it because I don't know exactly when I'm going to post.

But rest assured that I'm still always here even when I'm not active much or engaged with WA. As I said above I will share more details and insights into what I have been up to in my next blog post whenever that will be.

The Good News

Now for the good news I have made my first three affiliate sales with my website. It was a very small amount and the latest ones actually happened back in July 2024 but I didn't know about. This is because I don't keep an eye on my eBay account as often as I should and I just logged for a look today for the time in quite a while.

After a bit of looking I discovered that 2 people bought one of the phones I reviewed on my website using my affiliate link. One sale was on 15th July 2024 and the second one was the next day on the 16th July 2024.

I also discovered that the 50 cents I made back in January was actually from sale I made of a cheap phone through my website as well. So this actually makes 3 sales for 2024 and of all time.

As for how much I made it wasn't much. I have a total of $3.11 in my eBay Partner Network account. For these latest 2 sales I made a total of $2.61 for both of them which means each one made me a commission of around $1.30. This is very low considering the phones I sold were around $130 but that's just the way eBay is and I have accepted that.

In case you are wondering I have had no more sales since these ones and not many clicks either but that's ok. I will be working towards changing that and trying hard to make more affiliate sales with my website.

But I'm really excited by the good news and the best part is I can feel good knowing I have finally made some sales instead of just reading everyone else's success. I know that may sound selfish but what I mean is that I used to often read people's success on WA and was happy for them but sad that I wasn't able to make my first few dollars.

But now I have and it feels great. I know it's only small but I'm really excited about it and it was just what I needed to motivate me even more to get back into things. I can't believe this has happened but I'm really happy it did.

I have now made my first sales with my business since starting it in June 2022. I'm one step closer to achieving my goals and dreams and it's only onwards and upwards from here.

Where To From Here?

Now that I have shared the good news you might be wondering where to from here and what I'm going to do next. Well the answer I'm going to start working online again and get back into things soon.

I haven't posted on my website since early September so that will be the first thing I'm going to address. After creating some new content I will move onto doing some other work I need to do like working on my social media and other similar tasks.

I have made a to do list in my head about all the work I need to do and I want to get as much as I can done before Christmas. After new year I plan to get back into things full time and make 2025 my year of success.

Whether it comes to fruition or not remains to be seen but all I can do is try my best to make it happen. But for now I will be taking things slow by getting back into things soon and creating new content for website and working through my to do list the best way I can.

I have wanted to make sales and have success with affiliate marketing for so long and now I have finally have to started to do that. I have called myself an entrepreneur and affiliate marketer for a long time but now I can officially say that I'm an entrepreneur and affiliate marketer.

As I said earlier I will be talking more about my mental health and what I have been up to in my next blog post but I'm just sure when that will be. I want to get it done before Christmas but I just don't know exactly when it will be yet because I have a lot of other work to do online.

But rest assured this is a turning point and I will be more active on WA again and everywhere else online. I won't give up now and I hope to achieve many great things and more success in 2025.

Conclusion

In conclusion I have been a lot less active on WA for a while because of my mental health but I will be getting back into things soon. I have made my first three sales on my website and discovered the small 50 cents I made back in January 2024 was also a commission from a cheap sale which I means I have now made a total of three sales through my website.

Even though it is small I'm very happy and excited by this. It was just what I needed and has given me even more motivation to get back into things soon. I feel I have now earned the title of entrepreneur and affiliate marketing which makes me even happier.

From here it will only be onwards and upwards as I get back into things soon and post new content on my website and work through my to do list the best way I can.
