So, I decided to make this video to address this question and explain the nuances of using what you learn at Wealthy Affiliate to do affiliate marketing vs selling your own products.

I am a life coach. There are many products out there that claim to be able to teach coaches how to get traffic. Mostly they don't work. Your point about the primary skill of being able to get traffic is well taken. This is the only solid basis for any kind of online business. This is the primary skill which is not usually emphasised let alone taught how to do this.

Yeah, what you've said is spot on. Traffic is the foundation of any online business and it is something that many of the 'systems' and programs out there gloss over. If you can build an audience in a given niche, you can build a highly profitable business promoting or selling ANY product you want.

Hi Tim, I find myself in a very lucky position since my own brand (niche: personalized gifts) is on Zazzle and my shop is under their own affiliate program. So I could sell my products as mine AND - if the sale comes from the traffic I generated - I get also the commissions for bringing traffic to my own shop!!!
I am very curious to see how things will evolve! I am building the site in these days!
