What if A Website Existed That Paid the People that truly built it, Dividends?

Not my normal Niche, But something that is very interesting too me.

Social Media only Website

Social What if someone came up with a social media platform that you could post pics of your kids, grand kids and your family without corporate ads hitting you in the face every 10 seconds while you scroll thru your friends posts. What if it was actually free and did not gather all your personal info and sell it to Corporate raiders? So corporations could sell to you.

What if you were not the product but a person in a family oriented Social Media Platform. What if you had a say or had a question and got a response from the Website owners.

Marketplace Only Website

What if the other side of the Social Media site was an e-commerce marketplace where you could open a store, place items for sale and list for free until they sold. Your items would actually get ranked on google. Your item would get nationwide exposure and stay on indefinitely until it sold. Let's go one better.

What if they had integrated it so the website did all the paperwork, collected all the monies and distributed all the money for each transaction and paid you instantly, Printed shipping labels, did it all except take it the post office for you.

Paid you money

Let's say for the sake of argument since we are just dreaming here that the website actually paid money to the people that build this Neighborhood of like-minded souls.

There is of course the free side where you can list your items for free until they sell and you pay a small percentage to the platform. Lets say9 % get nationwide coverage and google ranked and it never drops off until it sells.

However, there is also an opportunity to make money off of the items that sell on the entire website while we dream. Let's say you got paid of the entire Websites revenue stream across the country and the only cost to you is a small fee to use there integrated software each month. But the platform has the potential reach of how many people on the internet?

How many people sell items on websites and pay 15-30% and other fees to list there items on e-commerce platforms? I think 4 billion is how many people are on certain social media/marketplace platforms.

Sum It All up (My ShangriLa)

Before I wake up from my dream. Here is my Shangri La.

1. Social media where friends and family can congregate freely without any ads whatsoever. Just pics and stories and friends.

2. E-commerce side where people can list for free until there items sell with nationwide coverage and only a one digit fee for the country to see there items in google rankings. Integrated system from start to finish including collecting money, tracking, distributing money after the sale and printing shipping labels with the big three shippers

3. Last but certainly not least. Opportunity would exist to pay a percentage of the Websites earnings to the people that bring others to the platform to sell items. Actually the people that bring others into the website and sell there items and there friends items.

If I come across something like this and test it out I will let you know.
