I am being inundated from spammers lately, people subscribing from ppoet.com. How do I stop it happening. I am just deleting one by one at present, but no sooner are they gone
You can do several things:
1. Use email activation: Do they have to go to their email accounts for confirmation through a link?
2. CAPTCHA: a question that the user must answer before submitting a registration form.
Both of the above can be done through a plugin.
What to do with unwanted users and how to prevent future spam users:
1. Go to Users, All Users: delete unwanted users
2. Go to Settings, General and go to Membership: uncheck ”Anyone can register”.

Interesting how spam keeps getting through to your site. When they come through, just have to delete. I get a couple a week and just delete them.

I disable the ability for commenters to register: Customize Your Blog's Comment Moderation Let us know if that works Pam!

Well I'm from across the ditch in Aus...I would think for formal authenticity then PeninsulaHealth.co.nz - however, it depends on your vibe really hey? Peachie may not attract everyone you want for your valid healing practices. I'm sure it is more "who you are" but may not resonate with all your potential customers.
