Flippin' Out Over Flipboard
So yesterday I finally looked into Flipboard for the first time. It seems very easy to use, and after adding a handful of articles, including some of my best posts, I went about other tasks.
Last evening I went in and polished up a few loose ends and then just let it be. This afternoon after work I pulled up the analytics for my site and was quite surprised at the number of real-time users. The numbers fluctuated but for the most part remained steady.
Just a few minutes ago, after midnight local time, I returned to the analytics and literally flipped out...
My one-day total sessions for my first full day after publishing my Flipboard magazine were more than half of my total views for the entire week. The sessions for the day were twenty-eight times more than the day before!!!
At the moment my site could use a boost, and someone should reach out with a "cyber-slap" for my lackadaisical approach to this extremely useful and profound FREE marketing resource.
Talk about a traffic spike....!
A mere 8 sessions for Wednesday and an incredible 224 visits the day after posting to my Flipboard page.
Guess what I'll be working on tomorrow?
Cheers and best of luck to all!!

It is a bubble, you will be back to normal soon. It reacts explosively sometimes within one hout, but it is hard to control and maintain. I had peaks up to 4000 visitors in a day.
Have you published more than one magazine? And do these 'magazines' somehow get indexed/found by Google?
I'm amazed at the results, so I'll be watching to see what develops next...
I have them close to 50. Google registers the traffic so all is in the system.
