Hi all,

I'm not sure if I'm being overly conservative but I'm wondering if there is an issue promoting Amazon products when I'm based in Australia?

I understand tha

I don't think there will be a problem
did you know that Amazon is going to be available in every state in australia this year?
Maybe worth holding on until this happens

Thanks Robert,

I did hear that, but wasn't sure of the details and impact. I'll dig more deeply.

Do you think this could potentially create a "bubble" or "window" of opportunity for Australian (or any) affiliate marketers, such as Wealthy Affiliate members being prepared for the launch?

The Australian market will definitely take a hit as currently our retailers are fairly immature in the online space and have really only created online catalogues of their bricks and mortar stores with cart and checkout capabilities. We only have a couple of Australian retail aggregators. This is my experience anyway. Amazon could definitely disrupt this.

Much appreciated.

Tim.

If their wasn't scope for improvement and expansion in the Australian online marketplace then Amazon wouldn't entertain the idea of expanding into Australia in the first place.
My opinion and I'm sure there will be lots of people with a different one.
Enjoy your Wednesday.
Robert

Very true. I agree. I deal with Amazon in my day job through their web services cloud business and if there's one thing they know how to do well, it's market penetration.
