On My Way to Success

I joined wealthy affiliate in Late July but really did not start utilizing the service until the second week of August. I am usually a little skeptical of internet marketing work-from-home type opportunities mainly because they seem to provide a very interesting way out of the rat race but with little justified substance to their claims. Having confirmed for myself that this was indeed not a scam, I threw myself into the lessons. The immediate mantra that impressed me about WA was the constant reminder that of taking action. In less than a month I have been able to understand the dynamics of my niche, the types of keywords necessary to be successful along with associated competition, and I also created a website that has been getting very decent engagement levels over the past 2 weeks. Combined with the levels of community support received in terms of feedback and comments, and I am thoroughly excited and looking forward to learning more.

The site I have created is called Fix Your Sleep Today! (http://fixyoursleeptoday.com) and it is targeted towards persons why are seeking to either reverse/correct their sleeping issues, or simply to improve their daily performance by reducing lethargy and fatigue. I'm really proud that I was able to accomplish this because I have had false starts with blogs before and a part of me somewhat expected that I would also fail at this. But look at me now--I've been running this blog for 3 weeks have made improvements to it based on the lessons and support of the community and I believe it can only get better.

In the next 3 months I would like to double the amount of organic traffic that's coming to my website. That means by the end of December I should be receiving (on a daily basis) at least 16 unique visitors. I also intend to sign up for affiliate programs with Amazon, City of Sleep and other sleep specialist vendors so that I can start bringing to my readers products of value. At a minimum I will sign up with 3 affiliate programs in the next 3 months.

By the time we arrive at the 6-month marker I should have achieved approximately 1200 US dollars in sales. This would have enabled me to recover my initial investment WA as well as any supporting services so as to break even. I am not in a rush to look for immediate profit instead I'm interested once again in ensuring that I double my traffic to at least 32 unique users a day. In terms of anticipated conversions, if I could starting hitting between 3%-5% per month, that would be great.

There's so much to learn and so little time! I strongly believe however that success is a product of patience, and also that failure comes with a profit. Even if I fail at this initially, it can serve as a learning experience for greater things. I believe in the WA community and what it stands for. For those of you reading, give it your best and persevere. The training is the first step, but the rate of achievement is within your control. The sky's the limit.
