Update on my website and chosen niche

So, a couple of weeks ago I took the plunge and became premium not knowing what to expect and even came to a point where I'm thinking I might have chosen the wrong niche to go with. Automotive sector niche.. Too broad. How do I market this??

I then pushed on with it and had an idea to create a blog about the Toronto car scene, just like the car scene in Japan, and California, it's also somewhat big here in Canada and in Toronto especially, a lot of car enthusiasts. I added and messaged every single car crew I can here in Toronto and introduced myelf, told them about my blog, most of them said yes, so i proceeded to send them my questions about them so I can get content. But then, I get no replies. I guess I wasn't known in the car community, I was a total stranger. I have no followers on my instagram except for the people I knew already.

I was getting ready to give up, thinking this might be all just a mistake. But I pushed forward, went to a car meet last friday, even convincing two of my co-workers to come with me so I have company and once there, I met 2 crews that I also messaged from numerous ones, I once again introduced myself, told them what I do with my blog and they helped me by answering my questions and agreeing that I write about them. Took a couple pictures, went home and wrote my content, uploaded the photos and linking it also on my instagram.

Now, the unexpected happen. After that one car meet, I get tagged on instagram by the crew that hosted the meet and they uploaded some photos that I took on their page and now my phone won't stop making the notification sound from instagram. I have people adding me, liking my photos, sending me the answers to my questions from a while ago, and inviting me to come to their meets. It makes me happy that the effort that I've put into this so far is actually paying off. I have stopped on taking the lessons jut because I don't want to go ahead of myself. I only signed up for one affiliate program so far and haven't gotten a response yet. But for now, I think I'll continue to focus a little more about my website, the content that I can put, and try to gain as much traffic as I can and when I think I have reached that goal, then I can focus on affiliating.

Moral of the story.. Don't give up too easily on your ideas. Push yourself to work for it and try your very best to do what you have to do in order to achieve your goals. So far I have learned and can say that with hard work and dedication, you'll see results. It may not be immediately, it might take a while, but you'll see them if you believe in it. Thanks!
