So much time!
So my day job is closed down. Can't sell to closed businesses any way. So I got a little too still over the last few days and decided to use all of the extra time to work on my site. I put up a new article on preparing your business for the restart after this virus blows over. I also noticed my first actual subscriber today and I have only put up 5 total articles with one being a glossary of terms. Tonight I am going to earn as many comment credits as I can and try to generate some income I can use to pay for a few things I want for my site.
The first thing I really want is a quoting software package. In credit card processing we base our sales process on an analysis of a business's current credit card processing service andgenerate a quote based on that to provide savings and better service to a business. This software package automatically does the analysis and will allow me to add additional value without spending an hour doing calculations. I think I can also work out how to automate it to provide instant results right on the site.
I am also trying to write more. Based on the response I have gotten I think I am doing it well but can always improve. If nothing else I will have a lot of content added by the time this crazyness is over.
I am finding that the more I do this the more I enjoy it. I can really see myself doing this full time as I build out the site and traffic starts to really flow. I do need to figure out how to set up my e-mail service so I can respond quickly and in a prepared way when more people subscribe.
