Beware of scams

So, I was just on Facebook and someone messaged me and he told me that he was so excited because he got his Facebook promotion that Mark Zuckerburg is going to pay $150,000 to a select few members of Facebook. All you have to do is pay $1,500 for processing.

Now if I was getting $150,000 from the owner of Facebook I don't understand why I need to pay the $1,500. This spells SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

Scammers are getting craftier, so we need to keep our eyes peeled.

I had this invitation also, but did not react on it. As you say, why to pay $1500,-

.... especially since 'The Zuck' is leaving FB for other things!

Exactly.

As Armand707 says, if it sounds too good to be true, it generally is. And you are right, the scammers are craftier all the time targeting people 's weaknesses... We can't have too many warnings and reminders about this! Thank you.

Thanks for posting this, Theresa! It's always best to stay vigilant. Anything that sounds too good to be true usually is. I hope that "someone" you're referring to didn't pay the $1.5K

Yes, the scams are everywhere. Buyer beware
