Usually when someone talks about life being like a roller coaster ride, they are referring to its being full of ups and downs. That's true, but there's more to it than that.
Life, like a roller coaster, is full of ups and downs and twists and turns. Once we are buckled in, we ride to the end unable to pick and choose which way we'll be carried.
In life, we tend to think of the downs as being the rough parts that we would prefer to do without. However, it's those rough parts that make life exciting and propel us forward. How dull it would be to continually move forward in life, but without any ups and downs or twists and turns!
My short ride in Wealthy Affiliate has had plenty of ups and downs as well as twists and turns, but I'm having the time of my life!
