Collaboration creates Traffic.

Social Media is currently free. Collaborative interaction and engagement stimulate activity. Activity creates interest and interaction evolves into traffic.

The challenge is in the agreement of the target audience, the platform(s) to participate on and the continuity of momentum.

TARGET AUDIENCE - My desired audience with Wealthy Affiliate is the MMO (Make Money Online) niche.

PLATRORM(s) - My preferred platforms are Facebook and YouTube.

THE CHALLENGE - The main challenge and struggle in any collaborative effort is momentum. In order to gain momentum, there needs to be regular scheduled commitment. The participants need to agree to a scheduled activity. The participants need to schedule a specific time to collaborate. This is the main difficulty, because we all have different lives and schedules. It’s very easy to get distracted, and forget to connect and collaborate.

You would think that it would be easy to agree to meet every Wednesday at 4 PM central standard time on a specific platform. It is not easy at all, because there are so many other distractions and priorities happening in our lives.

Focus is the key, however most of us cannot focus for a long enough period.

Let’s use the example of using a magnifying glass and the energy of the sun to burn a spot on a piece of wood. You need to hold the magnifying glass steady and focus on one spot long enough for it to get hot. With a collaboration, this would be as simple as agreeing to meet and engage on Facebook on Wednesdays at 4 PM central standard time.

However, could you do that for three weeks straight? That’s only 3 Wednesdays.

I sincerely doubt it.

It’s hard. I know. I understand. There are other things that happen in our lives that have more priority. Unless you knew what the payoff actually would be. Which is very uncertain.

The typical outcome, is seven people get together and agree to meet on Wednesdays at 4 PM CST on Facebook. Even on the first meeting, there would be two to maybe four of the seven people that would not show up. On the second meeting, those last three would be discouraged because the others didn’t show, and there would only be one person that showed up.

Would you like to try it and test it out?

PS: There is a successful group of people that do this in the political arena. As an example, the #YangGang of supporters for the presidential candidate Andrew Yang, meet online and communicate, and collaborate. There are other political groups that do this. They have a bigger vision than the average affiliate marketer.
