Should You Tell Them?
This is a question to generate a conversation and gain insight and prospective as to what you say to who about what you plan to do....
I have heard various opinions about whether or not one should truly reveal the full degree of their goals and dreams to the world.
What do you think, should we share our big dreams and goals with others, or should we keep them to ourselves?

Hi Evan,
For me, I only talk to individuals who are supportive and encouraging. There are some people I know that would discourage my choices, and I honor their opinions, but I can not allow their negativity to influence my decisions, so often its better to only share with people you trust to have your back.
Thanks for joining the conversation. I have similar feelings to yours. In high school I was fairly open with those I talked with about my goals and ambitions in life, and although it made for a fun conversation I don't think I was really supported. I think in some ways this question might be personal, and may differ based on the nature of the goal or goals etc. I enjoy hearing others opinions, so thank you so much for sharing with us.
Hey Evan, I believe in sharing your goals with your partner or friend. I find talking with someone can help with achieving those goals, as long as your partner is supportive! :)

This is a thought that I adhere to strongly....
I believe that it is arrogant to presume you know what others will think about any topic. Until you have given them the chance to hear and respond, everything else is presumption.
When I have honestly and openly shared my goals, the response has been positive. The more details I share, the more supportive my listener becomes...but it isn't the details they care about. It is my openness that allows them to hear me.
