I Wrote a Book in 4weeks
Last Update: Jun 6, 2016
I wrote a book in 4 weeks. (Sound crazy?)
I can hardly believe it. It came together so quickly.
With a topic I was passionate about, I found the energy I needed to stick with it, keep writing, and reach my goal to have a full first draft of a book completed.
The book currently has 46 chapters. With 220 pages.
The book is about the importance of jobs for teens and young adults, and how they can make the most of their jobs, and their time to build the future they're after today. I feel very strongly that jobs matter, and that if you approach them with the right attitude they can be life changing. They can help bring out the best in us.
Jobs can help us learn and grow, develop new skills and abilities, and develop and grow our confidence. Jobs have the potential to shape who we are.
Admittedly my book isn't perfect just yet. Although it's all written I should be sure that it undergoes further editing. That being said, I'm still looking into self publishing, and using the book to help me develop my business.
If you have any thoughts on jobs for young adults feel free to let me know.
If you have any questions for me let me know.
(For everyone's info I'll be leaving WA to pursue bigger and better things by the end of the month. So if you want to connect with me. You only have a few weeks left to do so.)
Thought I'd share this with you.
Congratulations! On your book Evan, in 4 weeks!
My teens have some jobs they are doing, it helps them make good use of their time. They are fast becoming financial Managment experts! I would love to read your book.
Good to know. To learn more about it you can check out my youtube channel. TheEvanWaltonshow. I haven't yet released it, but in time I'll be producing it in pdf to provide samples of the first chapter, and start selling the whole thing.
So glad to hear they got jobs! That's awesome! Learning about money while you're young is so important. Glad to hear they're learning.
Yay, well done Evan :)
Thanks! I can hardly believe I've made it this far.... But that being said, there's a lot more to be done to make the book into a business. I'm just glad I found something I'm passionate about, that helps people.
