Do You Expect the Unexpected?

Have you ever been pushing yourself to achieve something, only to hit an invisible brick wall?

Do you find that the more you have to do, the more interference and distraction seem to come your way?

I know I do.

Today when I got to my office I was surprised to discover that my office space was in the process of being renovated. I had been set on having a super productive morning only to be kicked out of my office. Ya I was frustrated, as we all would be. That being said I realized that because I was up for the challenge of making the most of my day the universe needed to try my patience.

So I just rolled with the punches.

Through many personal experiences, and being mentored by My Grizzly Mentor I have realize that there will always be opposition to our efforts to find progress in whatever we are striving to accomplish. Making rough mornings, and surprise office renovations not nearly so surprising.

You and I can easily feel overwhelmed and angry when things don't go our way. We struggle to realize that we can't control everything. We often feel like the odds are against us.

Yet we must remember that the struggles we face are given to us to prepare us and test us, not to stop us.

Han Solo was one who didn't care for the odds, because they didn't change his unfailing determination to do what others thought would be impossible. The same goes for us. If we are committed to overcoming our challenges and don't spend our time focusing on all that stands against us we'll have a much easier time finding the solutions we seek. This of course as with most things, is easier said then done. Just take things one paw at a time. Continually work on seeing things in the best possible way and the best possible solutions will become evident and workable.

The next time something happens that throws your day off, realize that you shouldn't lose motivation. Just know that you're probably moving in the right direction.
