Leonardo da Vinci was blessed with an intellectual curiosity. That was an extremely useful trait during the Renaissance. It allowed him to visualize Create and draw different types of things, including helicopters, diving masks.
While it was an incredibly innovative and exciting trait in 1520, it isn't great in today's world. Today the title genius responded about quite often. They describe celebrities, sportspeople and uncle Tom Cobly and all. In Leonardo da Vinci's time he earned the title.

Many of you know him as one of the world's most innovative painters. His iconic paintings include the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper.

However, he was so much more than that he designed flying machines. His greatest claim to fame was the fact that he managed to fuse together art and science.

“The genius,” wrote German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer, “lights on his age like a comet into the paths of the planets.”

Creativity is just as important today as it ever was. Luckily Leonardo da Vinci was born a multitalented individual in an era that valued multitalented individuals.

Today's world is leaning more toward specialists. There's lots of reasons for this, not least of which is that we've learned more in the last 20 years that we've learned since the Renaissance.

"The jack-of-all-trades is seldom good at any. Concentrate all of your efforts on one definite chief aim." Napoleon Hill

If you continue to dabble, especially in intellect marketing, then it becomes a dribble of an income stream. Contradictory interests mean that you're not doing anything at least seriously.

Maybe it's because you're still looking for the one thing that you're good at and can excel at

Nowadays, if you wish to write a blog with more than one interest in more than one target audience, you should ask yourself.

1. Is it fun?

2. Do you have a genuine talent for it?

3. Can you make a living by pursuing it?

By dabbling in many areas, you may never achieve mastery in any of them.

There are exceptions to this jack of all trades master of none rule. According to Wikipedia

"Jacob M. Appel (born February 21, 1973) is an American author, poet, bioethicist, physician, lawyer, and social critic. He is best known for his short stories, his work as a playwright, and his writing in the fields of reproductive ethics, organ donation, neuroethics and euthanasia. Appel's novel The Man Who Wouldn't Stand Up won the Dundee International Book Prize in 2012. He is Director of Ethics Education in Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Appel is the subject of the 2019 documentary film Jacob by director Jon Stahl."

This is a guy who's been truly creativity in many spheres. His influence has spread far and wide. My question is how many people have heard of him? Heidi concentrated on one or two of his interests how far would he have got?

Reading and acquiring diverse knowledge can enrich your life and broaden your thoughts. On the other hand focusing on one area will enable you to allow you you to acquire greater knowledge and a depth of knowledge you wouldn't have achieved otherwise.

Am I suggesting that you should abandon intellectual curiosity? No, I'm not. Without intellectual curiosity, we wouldn't get anywhere in life

Nonetheless, in the last year, I'm starting to use that intellectual curiosity differently. I am developing a primary passion, and I'm using everything that I read or hear to develop that passion.

These lessons are applicable in Internet marketing. If you trying to speak to many people you are trying to speak to everyone. Everyone is not a niche. The following training will give you insights about how to create a target audience. They can be used in your niche

Motivating post! I have some questions.
I think I know my interests but focusing on one or few for a long time and writing quality content is a challenge. I have been working as a Montessori teacher for almost 17 years. I love books. Philosophy and spirituality are my favorite topics. I want to promote WA. If I look at Amazon products and their commissions than books are not attractive. I can write reviews. But I feel that I am lost. I am not focusing on specific niche. I would like to do something out of the box and something that is valuable and solves problems of other people but don't have clarity.

Have a look at Clickbank in the spiritual niche. it is easier to navigate if you go to cbengine.com and type in spirituality

It's easier to navigate and research products. Go to the search bar on the right and type in spiritual

i am making a product myself now about Clickbank I will send you a copy in three weeks when it is ready

Hi Catherine, To have a talent like Da Vinci, wow. We all have to be creative and strive for originality in our websites and posts.

Thank you for the share.
Michael

Your right, we should try to evolve in the prospects that we know and can write about the best to get our audiences involve ... it give us more credibility in our writings and communications ... stay safe ... thank you for the post ... cheers ... Michel

Thank you Stay safe as well

I am guilty of this. I have lots of interests. My passion is in everything to do with nature. All my knowledge, however, is in the office environment. I spent 46 years in it. Unfortunately, it is a very boring topic and I am tired of it. So now what do I do? Dabble in my passion and get little to no money or continue on the office path which I was forced onto? Something I have to figure out. Thanks for your post and with gratitude
Jeannette

Jeannette, I see no reason that you cant make that passion profitable by creating a niche site based on the training here

Thanks Catherine. I will concentrate on this then
