That Tasteless Sandwich!

Blogging for the sake of having something to put up as a post...To me that is like eating when you are not hungry...eating, because the time indicates that you should be having that sandwich...the sandwich that you made quickly this morning without really thinking about and using ingredients that didn't really compliment each other...now you just going through the motions...forcing yourself to chew and swallow, chew and...oh yugh!!

Here are a few tips that work for me...(It helps a lot that I actually like writing!)

Start with a Title

Something that will catch a person's attention, make them inquisitive enough to click and see what it is all about....which leads to:

Make the Intro really Captivating

The first sentence will determine if you have captured someone's attention and convinced them to spend more time going through more of your article...

Add some Interesting Pics

Rick from Cosmic Radio has got this down to the tee..he likes to use short phrases and lots of pics...go have a look

Keep it Fresh!

I personally do not like long articles that are repetitive, once you have grabbed your audience, don't lose them by becoming monotonous!

Finish with a Call To Action

I like to end with a question related to my article, asking for a bit of interaction from whoever has managed to read until the end!

So, if you are still reading this....what do you think, did I make some sort of sense?

Cheers!

I'm pretty sure I gave you that Like for the that picture of that sandwich.... ROFL.

PS. I esp liked the bit about the long repetitive stuff - good advice.
The sauce inside the sarmie so to speak. And "finish with a call to action!" (I really MUST remember that....)

Thanks for the like Cate, and of course for reading and commenting!
