How do I integrate CafePress Site into WordPress? Is that the best way?

Hello WA Team! I need your advice. :)

I have a website that I did before joining WA. I design Christian-inspired designs for various products. I set up my website through CafePress who does all of the drop-shipping, e-commerce, etc... So, I need to keep using CafePress.

www.crossthelight.com

My desire to learn to drive traffic to my CafePress site is what inspired me to seek the art of driving traffic to a website. I was fortunate enough to have found WA!

So, here is my dilemma: I want to drive traffic to my site. I like the looks of my CafePress site but I need the ability to add a Blog, About Us, affiliate ads or links, etc. The CafePress website development tool is very limited for these things. But, CafePress works perfectly for my products. I would like to develop a WordPress site with the same look and feel with the ability to add my blog, etc.

What is the best way to integrate my products on CafePress into a CrossTheLight WordPress site? I will continue using CafePress because they do the drop-shipping for me.

Am I thinking of this the right way?

Any ideas?

Thank you!

:)

Alisha

Have you checked out Zazzle? It is like Cafepress, only people seem to like it better for various reasons. I have a few designs loaded and on products; am thinking about cranking it back up with additional designs and relating to a new website that I have to create. Let me know what you think. Cheers... :)

I will check that out. What do people like better about Zazzle?

I think that the commissions could be better, more product and more colors are available... then again, I haven't been to Cafepress in over two years, so things could have changed. Just seemed that the people on Zazzle had been on Cafepress and said there was no comparison. See what you think; use both. Hope that this helps some... Cheers :)

Thank you so much! I will check it out this weekend!!

Hi Alisha,

I don't know if there is a way to integrate your CafePress into a CrossTheLight WordPress site. But you can install a responsive woo commerce WordPress theme on your domain.

A responsive woo commerce WordPress theme will allow you to sell your products just like your "CafePress" website.

I did a google search and found this http://dessign.net/shopper-responsive-woocommerce-free/

You can download the shopper responsive woo commerce free theme and upload it to your wordpress website. Then you can add your product images, add the amount the items costs, etc.

Once you have the shopper responsive woo commerce free theme installed and activated. You can customize your website to make it look and feel like your "CafePress" website.

Hope this helps

Thank you! You are just so awesome to take the time to help me! :)

You're Welcome ;) If there is anything else I can help you with I will be more then happy to do so. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Thank you! It doesn't look like WooCommmerce let's you put your own design on their selection of merchandise like CafePress. Anyway, I am going to see if CafePress has a Plug In so I don't have to redo my whole CrossTheLight site. I put a lot of time into the Products and Departments. :)

I sent you a PM
