Your Website Wiped Out? - Well Mine Did Too.
Have you spent hour and hours writing, creating, sorting, changing, re-changing. All the things associated with creating a website. Yeah??? Well if you're reading this post than your on Wealthy Affiliate and you have done all of these things, Over and Over and Over again. For hours at a time. Trying to create that perfect blog website.
This is exactly what I have done. I painstakingly wrote and changed then wrote and changed some more. You get the picture. That's what you have to do when you create a website. It takes hours and hours. You wife or Husband is always yelling... "You spend too much time on that computer" ... This is what I hear all the time.
I'm trying to create that perfect website and that's what it takes sometimes. All of your attention, so it has to be perfect.
Why am I telling you all of this???
Well this is the process I went through creating my site. I spent so many hours on that site, it was going to drive me insane, and just when I had everything perfect. All my articles and spent money on all of my comments. The time and effort that I put into my site was pretty surprising, it was all erased.
ERASED!!!
How did it get erased you ask? Well I installed a new theme to give my site a new-look and present it to the masses. Oh yeah I almost forgot, before my site got wiped out I had traffic going to my site on a regular basis. After installing this new theme I activated it and clicked view website.
As I tried to go through my website I noticed there was nothing there. No articles, or comments or anything. Not even my site title. It was all gone. I almost threw my laptop at the wall. I asked the support team if they could restore my website. They instructed me that there was a backup and to check it out.
So I did just that, and that's where I almost started to cry. This backup they he'd for my site was a version of when I started my site. This is really upsetting.
Since that day though I have been working on my website and putting twice as many hours into it than before.
I asked Wealthy Affiliate if they could help me out with something anything really. I don't have money for comments because I spent it all. I commented on over 130 people site and made all those credits. Those were all erased because I used them on my website. So after asking Wealthy Affiliate they did not even reply to me and this is a little disheartening. I spoke very highly of Wealthy Affiliate and supported everything. Until now tho I am truly disappointed.
I have since rebuilt my site altho it doesn't have the comments I had before or half the articles. I did this all with no help from Wealthy Affiliate. And am truly disappointed. Thank You

So sorry to hear about this. Guess I need to download some backup plugins.... If you need any comments (for free), send me a private email with your website and the post(s) you want comments on, and I'll help pay it forward.
Very sorry to read this, it is truly heartbreaking when all your hard work disappears. I am forewarned. I dont back up. I assumed that the information on my site, before I log in it tells me when it was last backed up, so i haven't personally backed up in longtime.
Sorry to hear this happened to you. This is why I have a back up plug in and I complete backups regularly. Jim
I am sorry to hear that happened. Unfortunately these things can happen even for a minor change. I always backup my website after every new post.

‘Managewp’ is a great plugin that will backup your website daily for $2/month. That is what I do to backup the daily backup that WA also is supposed to do.
