Having a home based business can truly make all your dreams come true! Just please, don’t fall for all these ads you see online or in Facebook groups that tell you that your Paypal account or mailbox will be full of cash or checks when you go and check it after joining certain programs! Remember the saying, “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!”

At first, you need to treat your home based business like any job, if you truly want to make money online and work from home, you still have to work at moving up that Corporate ladder, which means keeping busy and working hard! Yes! I said working hard! With your own internet business, there is no room for laziness! You can’t expect to sit back and wait for the money to fall into your lap! You have to work for it, and in the beginning, it is hard work! Don’t let that scare you though! Every internet Guru who first started making money online has been where you are now at one point!

Just ask Kyle and Carson! They put Wealthy Affiliate together from the ground up! They started with an idea, then started building, beginning with the foundation (similar to building a house). They are STILL building, and improving a program they started years ago to create an internet business that keeps getting better and better. They are now very successful at what they do, but they still aren’t sitting back and just enjoying the fruits of their labor. They are still working hard by adding updates to a program that is already great! I have read some questions and many posts on here about discouragement and frustration about the length of time it is taking to make money and some even except it in a month! I hate to burst your bubble, but that will NOT happen! Try a year, or maybe even more, but please don’t let that discourage you even more because in the end, it is going to be so worth it!

I’ve even read about some frustrations about some of the new updates, and one of them being Jaaxy! I looked around it, and did some searches through it, and I have to say that I really like the new look! I think the biggest problem though is people don’t like to come out of their comfort zone, and they are afraid of change, or just plain HATE change! I was one of those people at one time! Maybe I still am in a lot of ways, but I’ve learned to try new things and come out of my shell a little more! J In fact, next week I plan on paying for the monthly Enterprise membership of Jaaxy before the price goes up in September! They are honouring members who upgrade before September by allowing their price to stay the same when the price goes up! I don’t have a lot of money right now, but I know that I want to be successful with my online business, and to do that, you have to spend money to make money! I’m even willing to sell stuff to do that! It’s summertime! Go through your stuff, and have a garage or yard sale! Kill two birds with one stone by getting rid of clutter and stuff you don’t use to make money for stuff you WILL use! Stuff that will help your business grow! You need extra tools for that!

In Wealthy Affiliate we have a team of professionals willing to help us to succeed. Not many programs can say that! They do take A LOT of the work out of the equation for you with all the training they offer, where you don’t have to search all over the internet for it! Worry about building your blogs that they are teaching you to do, work on your advertising and marketing, and they even have training for that! Even if you have been a network marketer for many years, you will never stop learning! There is always something new to learn, especially with how fast our world is changing, and how fast the internet is as well, not to mention that it just keeps growing with more and more potential clients who are looking for a way to stay at home with their families while they run their business! You just need to get out and find them! Find new ways to attract new members! You should never stop learning, and the worst thing you can do is give up, especially within the first 6 months! I say give it at least a solid year, but don’t just sit back during that year! Work at it! I plan on going on and on like the energizer bunny for more than just one year!

The problem most people make when they join any online program to make money from home is that they expect to make hundreds or even thousands of dollars right away! I suggest keeping your current job for now (if you have one), and work at this part time until the day you can honestly quit your work! And, that day is possible, as long as you don’t give up! Stay with it, plug yourself into the system they have created here at Wealthy Affiliate, and I can guarantee you, you will be able to quit your J.O.B, work at home, spend time with your family, and be truly successful in 3-5 years! Don’t freak out about this time limit that I just posted because that’s what I expect for myself, and to truly be an internet success story! To me, the odds sound pretty good!

With a home business, yes, there is recruiting, but don’t let that part scare you either! Look at it like a challenge, and who doesn’t love a good challenge? Way too many people quit because they aren’t making money as fast as maybe other people are in the program! Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Ask others what they recommend, how they are doing it! Lose that pride and ask for advice! Just don’t give up on your dreams!

Maybe you just might need someone from the program who is successful at it to work with you a little one-on-one who can show you the ropes, but remember they are working their business as well, so they can’t hold your hand all the way through! Accept what help you can and implant those ideas, and one day, maybe you will have the honor of being someone else’s mentor!

Once you understand what you are doing and you can apply what you have learned and know a few times, you’ll get the hang of this, and you will be able to watch your internet business prosper.

Over 12 years ago, I first started working on the internet, and had my own programs I was running, but quit to homeschool my kids, that it was only when I came back to start all over again after the kids grew up that I found the company Wealthy Affiliate that I believe in, and that has made me really get back to working, and I love the ‘pay it forward’ mentality that has me hooked!

Stay organized, write down a routine you can work with (be realistic), write down a list of goals, sell old stuff (garage sale/yard sale) and use the money to purchase the tools to help you with your internet business! You WILL Succeed!!
