To give you an example: it would be worth updating the NameCheap DNS transfer training (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wa-hosting-setting-up-your-domain-dns/connect-n

I have updated this training and it is now current. Thanks for letting us know and as Nathaniell said, the Namecheap interface is updated every couple of weeks.

Namecheap changes their interface every few weeks, so it's been troublesome to keep up lately. There are several new member-created DNS trainings that have popped up lately, but Kyle is aware that the current lesson's video is out of date. I'm sure he'll update it soon...it's been updated a few times this year already!

Hi Nathaniell, could you clarify if their is some way to highlight the interim training version please - accepting interfaces change regularly and it takes time to update the main training, this could be a handy feature?

You'll have to talk to Kyle about that, since he creates the training! As for now, it sounds like you got yourself sorted out, so I would move on with the lessons and keep building your business.

Thanks for the heads up!

Getting Started

Hi, I am trying to find a summary of the "Get Started Here" tasks and approx time required to complete?

The idea is to give potential referrals a little more effort detai

It really depends on the person and how much time they want to dedicate to the lessons. You could say 1.5 lesson per day, so 6-7 days, but someone starting with absolutely zero knowledge may not be able to work that fast. Someone with an established website may be able to burn through the lessons in 2 days or less and be ready to go premium.

Keep in mind that setting a time target can be discouraging for some people as well, especially for busy parents, so there are advantages and disadvantages to mapping out a timeline for your referrals.

I'm not sure if there is a summary but I would think it depends on how much you are willing to invest in the lessons. I found that I could easily do a lesson a day but it really depends on how many tasks there are and what they ask you to do. I also think it depends on the person. If the task asks you to write a post or page the length of time will really depend on the person writing. Some of us are able to write much quicker then others. I have even found that it may take me forever to write a post one day and then write one in an hour the next day.

If I were you I would emphasize on taking your pace and completing the tasks and lessons in as much time as you like. :) That is the beauty of this place. Take all the time you need with no penalties. There no such thing as being to slow.

Thank you, I agree emphasizing on pace and completing the tasks in whatever time you have is a good "catch all" - none the less (and I am a Taurian and may be a little stubborn sometimes :-)), I think a little more detail or a summary of the course is a differentiation that may be worth pursuing....

I havn´t seen this yet but I think it would be really good to create this to get referrals!!!
