Thinly Spread
I am quite good at what I do when I put some focus into it. There is nothing in this arena that I have seen that I would not be capable of doing (okay, so I know I patted myself on the back...but it's true! :) )
Regardless, the golden egg eludes me and it is my focus that is to blame. I have a great attitude, I believe in what I am doing and have no doubt that I can make money through the internet.
I just don't stick to one thing...
I am writing this blog entry (and I hope to make more) to help myself and come to some focused realization that I need to stick with one thing...now what's it gonna be? :)
I have read every self help book that I can get my hands on and I have listened to so many webinars that I could probably give one with no problem...hey, now there's an idea....see how easy it is to get distracted!
Any non-distracting help is appreciated!

My recommendation would be to focus on fundamental principles instead of methods. It's almost impossible to go wrong with offering value, be it in content, reviews, vlogs or whatever you find best suits YOU. Have you sat down and written a clear, concise goal yet? What's your vision, how do you see yourself positively adding to other peoples lives? Your pursuit of shiny objects could be fears masquerading as procrastination, because pulling yourself away from what YOU KNOW you need to be doing is procrastination. Also, my advice would be to begin solidifying your philosophy - you say you believe in what you're doing, prove it! STOP READING. Stop reading new articles, stop looking for shiny things, stop looking at new webinars... pick a path that you believe instinctively will get you to where you want to be and don't look back. Stop looking at emails from gurus, stop reading super new methods for making money online. Trust in yourself and what you know already, "how to" knowledge is useless if you don't apply it consistently.
Hey Insight, thanks for the kick in the butt! :)
You are right of course in every thing you say.
Thanks Shawn, I actually tried that not too long ago, paid the guy and he disappeared.! Traian Turco) He seemed so sincere, right up until the end, I'm not sure why he left everyone hanging. Anyyway, I didn't make a dime after that. I still have the websites, (Adsense related,) but I didn't get any traffic. I've since changed them to CPA sites and am trying to promote them. I get clicks on the ads, but no conversions yet.
If you have any recommendations, I'm listening...
He bolted on you? That is just plain not right. I know there are people here that are great at setting schedules and helping. Check out Beverley, She has been priceless in my success here https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/bis
I know exactly how you feel. I've tried so many things in the past. I want to concentrate on Wealthy Affiliate, this time.

It happens to most of us Terry. Always looking for a shortcut to quickly making money with minimum effort. Part of the human condition. Best wishes for your future success!
Hi Theos,
Thanks for the reply!
Minimum effort isn't really the problem. I do actually work pretty hard at it...it's my efforts that are obviously misguided and after 3 years of making a pittance at this, my patience has grown thin :)
