"Give A Man A Fish..." Revised

The sad news this morning prompted me to share with you all how I fund my subscription here at WA in the hopes that those of you who (whom?) are hard hit by the extra monthly fees, can sort of off-set the cost and maybe keep your heads above water for a bit longer. Ready? OK!

Online surveys. I'll give you a moment to stop laughing.....You can stop now...Sigh!

It sounds silly, but the good ones DO work! Luckily for you, since March of this year I've been taking surveys and can tell you the ones that I've signed up for that pay through Pay Pal or gift cards. The point being that they do pay. A little at first and then more with higher paying surveys as they find out that you are serious about it and are truthful in your answers.

Here is a list of all the names of the sites so you can look them up to see if they are your cuppa tea or not.

Here it goes;

Vindale.com by far the best on the list. Pays well and promptly. Also hooks you up with

MyView, Harris Poll, National Consumer Panel, among others. You don't have to do them all, but I recommend Vindale for sure.

MySurvey.com is another good one that pays well by points converted to dollars with PP

IpsosIsay.com pays with your choice of either PP or rewards cards/Visas

SurveySpot.com and Opinion Outpost.com both turn points to cash payouts and it's easy to get the points up there quickly

Again. I am only offering these as an aide for everyone out there who may be thinking of dropping out due to the added cost that are cutting into their pocket books/wallets. Depending on your likes and/or dislikes, you will probably make more money than I do and a lot quicker. A lot of the surveys are on subjects like dining out and fast foods, as well as technology and movies and health. They start you out slow to see if you are serious at first, but then when you get past your 1st pay out, you get the higher paying surveys. Each site has their own pay out target so ...

I hope one of these sites can add a little bit of pocket change and help out those of you who need a little extra. These days, who doesn't?

Just one more thing about these sites. They use "cookies" so if you are going to sign up for any of them, they require that you enable the "accept cookies".

I have removed the referral links because the WAer it was intended to help declined the offer because he is SUPER Awesome! He will pull himself up and will be back. Believe! It's just a bump in life's road.

Thank you to all of you for reading, replying and hopefully understanding that it was only a possible way to help someone. To any others that may need a little extra money, the above list is still good, if you are willing to try, I understand that they can be time consuming and not for everyone. Thanks again.

I'm in New Zealand sorry not Australia its like saying your American and you're from Canada...maybe neighbors but rivals yes...

I do many of them, but have never gotten any of my referrals to do them also. You have better luck than me I guess.

I'm not doing it for ME! It is just a possible way to get some extra money to those who need it. I only put my links there to get 10 people to join through my referral so that I could cover this months payment for another member here at WA. Survey taking is how I'm paying (for now) for my membership here. If I pay out of my PayPal to help him out, that is my payment for next month. I was only suggesting this so that we (or at least 10 of us) could help without any of us spending money out of pocket. If you, or anyone else want to check them out without using the referral link, that's great too and I really hope it helps, which is why I listed them. So I wouldn't profit from any of you here. That is not my intent!

Very good suggestion. That's thinking outside the box.

Nice share Theresa. I'm not the biggest fan of online surveys but if it helps you with the WA subscription then by all means. Once your business improves, you won't have to do this, trust me :)

I live for the day! And I do trust you. Thanks. ); )

This is one way to help out WA members so I'm all in I would do surveys all the time but due to the fact I live in New Zealand these survey companies don't accept people form my country..I will endeavor to see if there are any here in my country that does Paid survey's if so I will use them so that I to can contribute to this noble and Honorable gesture thanks for your input this is awesome to see WA members stepping up to the plate to help each other.."pay it forward" thanks again terry

I'm sure there are some. I can check a few here and let you know. Global Test Market might work with your area. They also pay well.

Hey, if you're still interested you can check out MY VIEW (myview.com). They reach those of you in Australia. About the only place they aren't in is Quebec Providence. They pay with gift cards like Amazon and also Pre-loaded Visa and American Express. It's another site that converts points towards these "rewards", but they are large points and so the conversion is fast! It can be a start >: )

It is nice of you to share this, you have a good heart! Personally I don't have the time available to even consider it right now, but really appreciate you sharing it.

I know. They do take up a ton of time! Some days I get hammered with them and then there are days that are real slow. That's when I can get other things done >: ) Thanks for check it out though.

Been there ... done that! M

...and had a thrilling time with it, I can see >; )

They work ok if you fit with their profile for the survey. I have membership with several of them, including the ones above. I have made some money with them, but most of the time I get rejected because of my age etc.

I know people have more success with them, but that is just my experience.

I've had the same problem. I never seem to fit the demographic they are looking for.

Oh well. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Thanks for your honesty. I'm 52 and I've not seen any age related surveys other than the health ones. I get kicked from them a lot. Mainly 'cuz I'm healthy as a horse >; ) No life threatening diseases. They do seem to think if you are over a certain age your old and/or bed ridden for some reason. But that's from the companies contracting the surveys out, not the survey sites themselves.

I will check them out this week though. It doesn't cost anything. I have used many but not the ones you mentioned.

That's great. I hope it helps you in some way. Even if you do just 1 site, so as not to get bogged down, I suggest Vindale. They really do pay well, and if you stick with it you can easily make your WA fees in a months time just with them. I only put my link there as a means to help a WA member(s), not to take advantage of his situation. I'm starting to think that that's what people are thinking. I hope not.

I don't think so. I know I didn't take it that way.

That's a good idea for anyone who is looking for some cash to fund their membership fee. I'm glad it works for you and it's nice that you can confirm that it's not a scam. ~Debbi

It was just a thought for a way to help someone out without passing around the donation cup. Not out-of-pocket anyway. Thanks for reading >: )

Thanks for reading. It was just a suggestion.

Thanx for the info Terry. I personally get emails from Vindale but have not used them. I got frustrated with it cause some of them go on endlessly. Just when I thought I was done I was redirected to another one. Maybe this was not Vindale but others I had researched. It would get me upset cause it seemed I would work on them for an hour or more and then never see credit for it. It was very frustrating for me to figure the whole thing out. I am so happy that it works for you though....=)

I know people who make good pocket money or money for something like WA doing surveys, Terry. I can't stand taking them, so I don't. For me, they take too long and they simply drive me nuts. Too ADHD, I guess. But if this is how you are funding WA, I say go for it!!! I'm sure this will help some folks here who are struggling with the monthly.

Some of them are a bit tedious. I agree with you on that. But the longer you stay with them, the better it gets. I wasn't putting all this out there for my benefit. It was just a suggestion to help someone out. I'll try to think of something else. >; )
