Why you should start a blog ASAP
Benefits of starting a blog are numerous. Not only can you create but you can contribute to the world and your contributions will be around forever.
Internet as you know it is written in ink, whatsoever is put out there cannot be retracted this benefits you because it will act as a timestamp. (If you want it to)
Think about that for a moment; imagine if you had an online account of your thoughts when you were in your early 20s. Most of us have pictures but not thoughts. You may have drastically evolved in the years leading up to your present moment and seeing that progression before your eyes is wonderful.
Just imagine what your thoughts about yourself and those around you are. Your interests, your likes and your worldview and compare them to your present self.
Another great benefit is that you are the one who controls your online persona. I started my blog(s) as a way to express my thoughts into the world to help others. In addition, these blogs were a way for me to communicate with my kids and future grand kids, as a way for me to give pieces of wisdom if I'm not present to do so in the future.
Whatever your reasoning consider starting yours ASAP it can be for fun, for hobby, a social cause, a company, for monetary reasons, a legacy, etc. whatever you want the benefits will surely outweigh the risks.

It's a wonderful thing. Just think that in decades and centuries past, to reach an audience outside of immediate friends and family you had to be published. As a blogger you have control to publish yourself, and with the internet your reach potential is HUGE.
Intimidating if you think about it too much. Inspiring if you'd rather just dive in :)
