One step at a time before blast off

Since I joined WA, I started with lesson one and followed the steps as I went on, but what I had learned from other programs had to me to believe I knew exactly what I should do next, but then I lost focus on what lesson I was on and the steps I should be following with WA. I started to over think what I was doing and not completing each lesson as I went along with WA. Ok I said step back clear my mind of all that I have learned from other programs and when something came up that was similar to what I had learned before. Clear my mind and just asbor what I am learning now with WA. Stay focus!

The lessons provided with WA are easy to follow as long as you don't over think something and clear your mind of what you have learned from before. This will give you a better understanding of what you just learned and be able to process it without any hesitation.

So remember one step at time, which will lead to a better understanding of what you are learning before you blast off to the next lesson and steps to following.

thank you, I really love how we can help each other this is one main reason I joined WA

Great Scot!! and Hello terialf. Use google drive, there are docs, spreadsheets, presentations and so many apps to make your life easier. Use Evernote to write and keep track of what I do. Writing and reviewing all the time. Yes, totally agree we must take step by step. Hope this helps. ^_~

Hey Scott, thank you I will try google docs. I mostly worked with excel and database programs when I was working, I know the basic in MS Word. Writing can be overwhelming sometimes but I in time we will master the art of writing.

Sounds awesome Theresa, Writing doesn't have to be hard and after you do it for a while it becomes second nature to you.

Hey Theresa, Staying focused is something that I think everyone has a problem with starting out. At times I still struggle with it but not at all like it was when I first started. Just try and put what you learned in the past in the back of your mind and focus on what WA is teaching because they are the best. If you ever need me to look at your site or help you better understand something just let me know.

I look forward to reading more from you in the future and I wish you all the best

Hey Scott, thank you I was really nervous about my post, Gramer was not my best subject in school I was more a math girl very good in accounting when I was working. So my commons and periods might not be in the right place but I am sure I will get better as I post more and blog. Do you know of a program that won't change what I write but only correct my commons and periods and suggest some things to me. Please let me know that will help a whole lot.

thanks again.

Hey Theresa, It looks like we have something in common lol My worst subject in school was English and how to use proper grammar. In fact I almost let it stop me from going forward here because I was a terrible writer and my grammar sucked. I did love math and I got good grades in it. Thanks to the wonderful people here at WA they helped point out my grammar and spelling errors and now writing is fun for me and I don't think of it as a chore like I used too.

If you use Microsoft word to write your articles they have a grammar check that you can enable and it will catch any grammar errors and check for spelling errors as well. Word press also has a spell check built in but I don't think they have a grammar one. Now that I think of it Microsoft word will change it if it's not grammatically correct. You might want to check out Google docs I haven't used it but lots of people at WA uses it and they say it's great.

I hope this helps and you shouldn't ever feel nervous about writing a blog here at WA. We are here to help you get to be a better writer and blogger.

I posted a blog about staying focused!

I will go and read it thank you

Yup, this is me. Some of the stuff we learn on here I actually do for a living, but I've been forced to rethink the way some elements interact and the order in which we should undertake tasks.

At my age, proof positive that you're never too old to learn.

Yup, we are never to young or to old to learn something new. :o)

Awesome Theresa! It's easy to jump ahead before not fully absorbing that which is already in front of you so I totally agree it's best to pace yourself and go with the flow and not let that flow stop as well as not letting that flow turn into a tidal wave leaving you all soaked ;-)

thank you for you comment, I am glad to see that you understood what I have been feeling but all better now and just going with the flow as you put and staying dried.
:0)
