[Asking] Is this a real subscriber?
Hi WA community,
Good day. As a newbie which has only written the post "About Me" (I am quite busy these days), I see a user subscribing to my blog and they will be notified if I post a blogpost.
Can anyone advise me if this is a real user or not? And how they subscribe to my blog even though I have not had any opt-in plugin?

I would just add that registrant to your blacklist. This should take care of the problem.
Make sure that the setting (Settings>>General) for Membership is unchecked and that new Subscribers are set to the Subscriber level.
Don't forget to Save changes when you are done making them.

how could anyone subscribe to your website if you don't have the subscribing plugin? that's unusual! I like to see what the other members will have to answer to your question.
