just ranting before I take a nap.
Ok, I started 3 days ago and I'm making some good progress on my site http://affiliatetoday.org/. The thing that's bothering me the most is that my Google webmaster tools haven't shown me any data yet after 2 days is this normal ? My analysts are working fine though. I really want this to workout, so I've been giving it a 120% writing comments on popular Facebook pages and trying to get follows on google+ twitter and pinterest. I'm sorta stressing though because I just lost my job a week ago and haven't been able to decide if I should spend more time looking for a job or keep working on blogging, I won't be able to pay rent this month though. Plus I spent some money I don't have on jaxxy and WA. If anybody reads this I would like some suggestions on a few things. Also if anybody's willing could you like my face book page follow me on twitter and pinterest I will post the links at the bottom.
1. How dose my blog posts look are the images fine? How about the content is it relevant ?
2. the first question is less important because I like my content and that makes me happy. but If somebody has any suggestions for things to put in my widget bar that would be great.
3. Is there a tutorial on customizing your page link and my category links also how do I remove the text at the end of every posts I don't really want people seeing my tags.
4. Should I make my site background more colorful ?

Did you submit a sitemap xml to Google Webmaster tools? It took almost a week until I saw some Google activity to my site. Patience is your friend for now. :)
lol ya I did and it gave me some feed back told me I had 8 link errors I found 3 of them, but the others seemed to be in tags or something Idk I couldn't find them
Maybe you've deleted pages/posts and the sitemap you've submitted has them still listed.
Not sure what you're using, but I use a plugin called "Google XML Sitemaps" and it works pretty good with it. Plus it updates your sitemap automatically whenever you want it. Like daily, weekly or monthly.

I clicked on your Start Today page. Your first block of text has a question mark, but it was after a statement, not a question.
Anybody looking at it is going to start wondering how much of an authority figure you represent. Exactly how much of a solution are you going to be able to provide to their problem.

I like it better Plus I went threw all my links and checked the open in new page box well most of my links. my webmaster tools crawled my page and found 8 broken links I was able to fix 3 of them. the other 5 seem to be in tags but I can't find them. also checked it all for grammar errors
You pages look great and you are a lot farther along then I am and you have only been doing this for like 3 days? Wow That's awesome!!
AS much as you have done in 3 days I have no doubt you will be making money with blogging. Remember though it takes time to create the " following". Don't give up on doing it because you definitely have a talent and will succeed, but it will take time to get a study pay check coming in ;)

Your site is coming along great Thaddeus, and so far the images and posts are all matching the theme quite well. A lot of answers will come from completing the training here also. Many of the website themes will also have their own tutorials to help you get the look you want to achieve. You can always check out the customize settings for your theme in the dashboard settings of WP also. Well done and wishing you great success. :)))
Thank you, I got threw all the getting started courses already. Now I'm doing the bootcamp, but I've noticed that the boot camp has some of the same lessons as getting started. So I'm focusing on working on my site for a couple days then I will get working on that as a refresher.
That is awesome... I have not done the boot camp as I decided to do another niche other than 'make money online.' With the getting started training, I go back to the beginning to relearn older tasks again as a refresher also. It is great to keep going over until it is mastered. I am looking forward to your your progress unravel and hear of all your success. :)))
