What's THE Secret?
Going Forward - What's THE Secret?
OK - so I joined WA in mid-March (2019), completed the Certificate training, built my website which has 31 blogs (12 of which are product reviews), and I have received comments/feedback (from within the WA platform) on just about all 31 posts so far.
So my question connected to this particular blog is this: What is THE secret formula for getting ranked on the 1st page of search engines?
Getting traffic to our website first of all, for interaction/comments is the first step to building user (and Google) confidence rankings in us - right??
Forget about trying to get sales at this point - it's all about getting ranked within the top 10 so people see our page(s), and then make their purchase through us.
SO how do we accomplish this outside of WA, which is building organic traffic?
Is this covered in the BootCamp training?
I'm eager to take all my hard work, add more hard work, and get to the next level to find paydirt!
TIA,
Tom

1) Completing the training (You already did this Tom).
2) Giving the blog at least 6 months to mature (rankings start to really climb by then).
3) Continuing to blog and grow the site the same way the training teaches (blogging about niche topics on your site). At least 2-7 times a week.
4) Rinse and repeat and possibly start a new site, because you already gained so much knowledge in this.
Thanks Vitaliy - so I'll just continue status quo (and I actually DID start another niche site ;)
How necessary is it to go through the Boot Camp training?
Only if you want to promote WA would I do bootcamp, otherwise, the other course is totally sufficient.
Hi - just as an aside, I took a look at your site, and you don't have an Affiliate Disclosure, which is mandatory, and please note, you are not allowed to mention the price of an Amazon product in your review.
Since the Disclosure is mandatory/important, why isn't it presented in the Certificate training?
If there are important features we have to add to our website, and it's not covered in the Cert training, why also isn't it mentioned after completion of Cert training that you must continue on with BootCamp training.
We're basically left to our own discretion as to whether we stop after CT or move forward with more training.
Regarding Amazon prices, how does one grab a product link right from Amazon's Affiliate page without it containing the price??
One more thing that wasn't covered (unless I missed this).
and an aside to your aside - I can see that my website is listed on my profile, but yours isn't. I take it there's a way to either add this or remove it from one's profile??
Hi - I have no idea why it isn't mentioned in the training. It is one of the first things I pick up on when offering feedback. As far as I am aware, it's not mentioned in the Bootcamp training either.
As regards the product links, it is fine to have the text + image link as obtained directly from Amazon, and this is what should be used, as it updates automatically, if there is a price change.
What you can't do, is actually type the price into your review. As you can imagine, if somebody reads it in two or three years time, inevitably it will have changed and won't be correct.
You seem somewhat offended that I looked at your website. I can assure you I was only trying to help. It is entirely a member's choice as to whether they add their website to their profile. I choose not to.
Thanks Diane -that makes sense with the price, but maybe it's not so much about not being allowed, but more that it wouldn't make sense, with the scenario you gave?
Either way. I'll fix that ;)
No offence taken - just curious about mine being visible and yours not. I don't remember adding my URL to my profile, but I guess I did at some point.
Actually, I'm glad you did have a look at my site and brought these things to my attention.

I would also like to hear what other’s secret is for best ranking. Thanks for shouting out with this blog!
