Just Bought a Third Domain!

I'm very excited to announce that I've bought a third domain!

It's been a long time since I've last posted, but I am still here! Still working hard. I have two website and have just made plans for a third associated with a new podcast I'll be making.

After reading a few financial books and living with the knowledge I've learned from WA, I can fullly understand how important it is to have as many opportunites for passive income as possible. I've now self-published a pop album, SciFi novel, finishing up a 16-min orchestral piece for my Doctorate application, and beginning a podcast that I KNOW I'll continue to a long time.

One of the most valuable ideas from the WA training I've continued to remind myself is how important the topic you choose is - how important it is to YOU. Is the topic you choose going to stay interesting to you for 100 articles or more? That was my mistake with my first website. After nearly two years here on WA, I find my first website is more a burden to update than my others. And that's because I have more personal interests in the topics I choose for the second (and now third!) website. I'm so excited to have figured this how so I can direct myself correctly for my future endeavors.

The last thing I've not experimented with are podcasts!

Podcasts have continually grown in popularity, as surprising as that is. Written articles are very powerful for search engine optimization, but I feel people skim through more than they actual read. Maybe that's just me! But I'm hoping podcasts offer a more entertaining medium to help really build a community of fans that continue to return.

My first website site began growing to over 800 people visiting per month - which to me is a lot! Especially more than my previous attempts before my training with WA. But if you think about it, why do people stop for reviews or product recommendations? Most likely so they can check to see if they are spending their money wisely! Makes sense, but it doesn't keep an audience as well as I'd hope. Products are temporary I feel like, but a sense of community and belonging is renewable and can spread like wildfire.

So my hope is, when I begin this new podcast, that a community starts to form where I speak more human-to-human. Maybe this will keep an audience coming back.
