Hi there,
I logged on here today hoping to continue the training that I left off on about a month ago or so, but I noticed there was a change to hubs? However does this mea
The old Trainings are indeed gone - you'll need to create a Hub if you haven't already and your new training will be there. It won't carry over where you left off in the old training, but you'll get a rough idea as you go through the videos. It will trigger memories of "oh yea I've seen this before" or "nah, this is brand new to me". You shouldn't have to start back over from square one as far as building your website, as a lot of the basics are essentially the same.
I had just completed my old-school training when they converted to Hubs, but I'm still going back through the new videos. It's a good idea anyway, as there is updated info there.
It is a big change and it sucks a lot .
I started over to refresh my mind and I suggest just playing around with it because you can't go wrong.

Okay, I hear you; Change is good if it is positive and constructive. The sooner you adapt, the better...

Build a hub and start from the training there. WA has just had the biggest overhaul in a decade and all the old training outside the hubs has gone . All the training is new

Hi, for looking for a niche, is creating a website to support parents who want to homeschool somethi
How would affiliate marketing work in this realm?
Hi Teresa, great question. The best approach to affiliate marketing (and your niche) is to identify the problems your target audience is having and provide them with solutions.
Generally, you want to offer your readers advice, tips, tutorials, guides, etc., to support them, and by doing so, you become a trusted guide.
And inevitably, that leads to product and service recommendations within your content that your readers will find helpful.
For example, I don't know much about homeschooling, although the pandemic gave me some experience, but there are several problems or challenges homeschooling parents may encounter.
So, in addition to offering advice, tutorials, etc., the potential products or services you recommend in your content might include...
Problem - Lack of a structured curriculum.
Potential Recommendation - Online homeschooling programs like Time4Learning or Khan Academy (although I think Khan Academy's affiliate program is temporarily closed, but there are others you may find in this area).
Problem - Difficulty in teaching complex subjects.
Potential Recommendation - Online tutoring services.
Problem - Keeping kids focused and motivated.
Potential Recommendation - Educational toys and games.
Problem - Lack of social interaction.
Potential Recommendation - Subscriptions to virtual extracurricular activities or local events if you have a local audience.
Problem - Balancing work and homeschooling.
Potential Recommendation - Time management tools, apps, and courses.
Problem - Lack of physical education.
Potential Recommendation - Home workout equipment or subscriptions to programs (it looks like GoGoYogaKids has an affiliate program, although I'm not familiar with it. Again, there are probably similar programs with affiliate programs).
Problem - Difficulty in tracking progress and grading.
Potential Recommendation - Homeschooling record-keeping software like Homeschool Tracker (has a 20% commission affiliate program).
Problem - Lack of hands-on science learning.
Potential Recommendation - Science experiment kits and games.
Problem - Difficulty teaching art and music.
Potential Recommendation - Online art and music classes.
Problem - Limited foreign language resources.
Potential Recommendation - Language learning apps like Rosetta Stone or Duolingo.
Problem - Need for homeschooling advice and support.
Potential Recommendation - Books about homeschooling or homeschooling courses on Udemy.
These are just some ideas. Again, I'm not too familiar with homeschooling, so I'm probably missing some obvious ones. But hopefully this is a helpful start.
Thanks! Great advice and ideas! Also, I have a question, do u have any sample websites/online businesses that have been born out there f WA and have been successful? So I can get an idea of how a complete and successful website looks like?
It sounds like a great direction, especially if you are passionate about it. And you think you can create lots of content addressing related issues.
You walk your visitors through your journey, give your visitors sound advice and promote products however feasible.
