Calm yo' happy a** down! The case for taking it slow in WA

So, I'm backtracking a little bit.

I just 'finished' level three of WA and I'm just getting around to writing a blog post. If this is the case, if I'm doing in level three what was asked of me in level two, can I really say that I finished all those other lessons? Moreover, I've not contributed to many discussions or commented on other people's work. Why?

'cuz I'm a douche.

Just kidding.

I was looking ahead for the rewards at the end of the tunnel, and it caused me to skip over steps in between.

I have the tendency to become anxious and to seek the treasure without actually doing the work. This gets me into trouble quite regularly; I grow so anxious to achieve my objectives that I try to get out of doing the work.

When it comes to WA, can you blame me? We talk about money here and the word affiliate gets thrown around so much, it's hard for me not to want to do whatever I can to get rich quickly. Kyle says building a quality website takes time; I hear: money, money, money!

The problem is that it rarely works this way--such success rarely happens over night. And I've been at this for three weeks...

I must put in the effort in order to reap the rewards. I can't skip steps. Well, I can, but the final product would be less amazing than it would be if I studied each lesson meticulously.

Now that I have learned my lesson I am looking forward to going through each lesson and actually doing each prescribed task. I can see the benefit to each thing Kyle asks of us, and I don't want to miss out on the lesson, OR on the support from the community.

No more cutting corners; just good, clean, effort.

Enjoy your day.

I have the exact same problem. It's not that I don't read the posts, It's just that it's so much information, and I need to make money quick. Therefore I might skip bits and parts.

I've actually been forcing myself to comment on other peoples posts. I mean, I'm happy when I get answers on stuff I post here, why shouldn't other people feel the same?

Good luck on your progress!

Hey Tbooks hey me too, some people are more apt to think they can go really fast, I have been that way, Am not to good on the reading part but getting better there is a lot to learn here Thank you for sharing an get into this community they are some great people, and great teachers

Really good post. It's so easy to rush ahead and miss out on the important training steps.

Most people want the rewards fast and hard but it takes time to build a solid and sustainable online business. Patience and perseverance is key.

Thanks for sharing this.
