Ranking Performance 18 Days Post Launch
My site has been live for 18 days and I'm watching it gain traction in real time. At this stage in the process I want to open by saying two things.
1. I am super grateful for having stumbed upon Wealthy Affiliate and it's awesome training and people.
2. If you follow the training you will see the results.
This is not a get rich quick scheme, so you e to take your small vistories in stride and celebrate every centimeter you take. That's why I'm poting an 18 days update. I didn't like the first topic I chose and ultimately abandoned that website. The one I'm working on now I am much hpier with and much more passionate about.
Newbie tip: Pick a niche you really care about or content writing will be a real drag!
New Post ContentI ended up doing a little consolidating... I took my number of categories from 4 down to 3 (by combining, not elimination) and have just been chugging along. I hn't been able to output as much content as I want to, but I'm happy with where things are at.
I have published 10 pieces of content, for a total of 7,359 words. My first post, About Me, is the shortest (307 words) and my string lights shopping guide is the longest (1,335 words) but I average about 750 words per post.
Content PerformanceAs you can see, I haven't received any actual traffic yet, but my site is slowly becom more visible. My Color Hunt page is one with less content (551 words) so I may go back and lengthen this piece since it's one of my best pages right now. Philips Hue is extremely competitive so the fact that I'm ranking at all, even 83.7, is reassuring.
My moon lamp review is actually my highest traffic page because it's gotten some clicks from social media, but it's not onf my top ranking.
KEEP PUSHING WA FAM!
Wishing everybody lots of success and $$
