Just curious to long does it take for traffic to start producing on your website/blog?

There are outstanding cases, but it shouldn't be expected to get consistent levels of traffic, that you can actually make noteworthy income from, for **at least** 6-12 months. It's a fluke (and a great surprise) if it happens before, but I wouldn't set your exceptions for that. It can set you up for extreme disappointment and failure if you do.

And I've had some sites take over 12 months of writing super high quality content 3x per week — it just depends on your niche, competition, keywords, and a lot more!

I have heard a lot say a little over a year and I am kind of expecting that.

I am only a month in and I am getting traffic. It started with a few here and there now it's constant everyday. I am up to level 4 in level 3 you learn how to track your visits

You must have some gold content lol. But that's awesome, I knw every situation is different but I was just curious.

I have shared my site a lot of ways so it's attracting a bit of traficy

Do you have to have Adsense? I am only asking cause I notice that it cost, and for those on a budget (mainly me) how would I be able to get around that?

You don't need it straight away. It's up to you if and when you want it. It's a good way to generate some income though.

I'm sorry but you have it backward; Adsense pays you - it is Adwords that cost you.

....and, NO, you do not need it right off the bat (either one!) As a matter of fact, occasionally you MAY delay getting indexed if you are 'monetized' before indexing happens.

Good question Ms. Tasharea. I want to know the answer of some of our more tech savvy WA friends.

As for what little I know now myself, in the early stages of the certification courses, I haven't seen anything that alludes to adsense as a must.

I'm curious to see what kind of answers you'll get especially from the more experienced members of the community. Thank you for asking this question on behalf of some of us.

Cheers!
Don

No, you most definitely do not...at least right away, I'd advise against it. Wait until you build traffic to your website through all the techniques you'll learn here. Then, consider AdSense in the future once you've built traffic to your niche website. After all, you'll need website visitors to click on your AdSense ads for them to generate any income for you.
